After watching Dirrell's last few fights

You are seriously overrating Dirrell's boxing skills.Look, I dont want to brag but I try to tell people things ahead of time on here and they never listen, only to find out that I was so right. I talk about this all the time but people always underrate pure boxers. I hate that crap. I love pure boxers. Fans hate the way they fight and therefore they always think there garbage while they boost up the no talented brawlers who hit hard but have no skill. Then you see that boring pure boxer in there with the brawler, and the pure boxer embarrasses him. Dirrell is the real deal and people will see that against Froch.
Southpaw said he struggled against Hanshaw. How? He clowned him. So what Dirrell got dropped in the 1st. Have you ever heard of Trinidad, JMM, and so on? Those guys get dropped early all the time. It doesnt make you a bum. He came back and totally dominated the rest of that fight and I think Hanswaw is a very underrated boxer who just ran up on beast like Dirrell & RJ. Even Stevens aint that bad. I hope the odds are great in this fight because I know Im going to win money with Dirrell. Did you see how Taylor outboxed Froch? Dirrell is so much a better boxer than Taylor & 10x more coordinated. He will kill him
His footwork is sloppy as hell. Just because he's got fast hands, doesn't mean he's this great boxer. Kid just doesn't have the toughness needed to survive a guy like Froch. Froch's pressure will get to him. When Dirrell gets pressured he looks like a fish out of water. With Froch's workrate, pressure, and ability to take a punch, Dirrell will get walked down. He doesn't have the defense or the experience to survive in this kind of fight.
Froch is a horrible style match up for him. He seriously would have been better off against Abraham. At least against Abraham he would have room to work and would just have to avoid the big shot whereas Froch will make it an ugly fight just wear him down.Comment

Hmmmmm that's not always true. I remember a few years back( when i first came to this forum) when we had that huge debate on the Cotto/Mosley and you was basically going on about how Cotto was talior made for him, which was offLook, I dont want to brag but I try to tell people things ahead of time on here and they never listen, only to find out that I was so right. The fact of the matter is, that even though Dirrell has obvious great talent and is very athletic, he has many flaws, and is very untested against world class opposition. What he does against the Hanshaw's, the Stevens, the Oganov's and the Derick Finley's, is no measuring stick to what he can do against Froch.
I also think you understimate Froch's skills. He out boxed Pascal when he had to come off the gas pedal in the later rounds, and lets not forget that by the 12th round, the Taylor fight was getting close and one unofficial judge even had Froch ahead. On Dirrell being better then Jermaine, i highly disagree. Taylor has much better technique, much more experience, has better defense and is a much harder puncher. Even though Taylor( who out boxed and out worked Hopkins 2 times and held his own with Winky) was beating Froch to the punch does not mean that Dirrell is on that level. Dirrell has yet to prove that he can compete with any of these fighters, and it remains to be seen. And while Froch looks like a slow, off balanced plodder, he is really a boxer/counter puncher belive it or not. He has ways off timing his opponents on the way in and while he has his hands by his side, he is thinking of different ways to create openings.Southpaw said he struggled against Hanshaw. How? I also never said that there was anything wrong with being floored. It was the way he was floored and how he reacted when he got up. He was in a state of panic, and he looked as if he was unraveling. Hanshaw( who isn't even close to world class and is also smaller than Dirrell) for some reason stopped cutting off the ring and begen to follow Dirrell squared up. With a fighter of Froch's caliber, Dirrell will not be able to escape the way he did against Hanshaw. Froch is one of the best finishers in the sport and in the first time of Dirrell's career, is actually his size.Comment

I think Froch takes him out in 6
Dirrell has far better boxing skills than Froch, but his lack of solid footwork and power, especially behind his jab won't allow him to stay away from the power shots
Dirrell is extremely open to a KO punch when exchanging on the inside, he throws short hooks with his elbows almost glued to his sides, leaving his chin exposed
He's also a big guy, so Froch should be able to land shots, especially to the body, all night
He's really never had to deal with a quality opponent putting pressure and some leather on him but still winning, maybe a little unproven but he has loads of talent and will be difficult for Froch. I think he punches harder than most think and has the ability to do a lot of things really well, switching orthodox, moving very well, head movement, fast hands. Froch has his hands full.
I like Froch but he is worse than Pavlik when it comes to taking punishment to win. Not quite on par with Margarito but he has been hammered here lately.Comment
