Haha, well my "theorized" post was definitely not based on luck, but if you want to say, genetics. I believe it has to do with the liquid inside your skull that acts as a cushion for your brain. When you get hit (in any type of way) in the head, your brain is jolted around with the liquid helping to cushion it from slamming into the skull. Granted these movements of slamming into the skull are probably millimeter distances of movement. The bleeding of the brain happens when there is not enough liquid and the brain is constantly ****ing into the skull due to the lack of liquid and cushion.
So in saying that, I believe fighters who are born where they have more liquid between their skull and brain are less suspectable to these injuries than those lacking it. Now unless there is a way to xray how much liquid you got there and determine if your chances are higher or lower of being injured, there is no way to know that otherwise.
