You have to wonder what would have been if he didn't fail the first test as he was going to get a Wlad fight and decent pay day. I truly feel he was set up with the first failure as a bunch of b side foreign fighters also tested positive after blasting local favorites in Russia around this time period. With proven cheating in Olympic sports by Russian government sporting federations it's not illogical to think a sport like boxing wouldn't have this problem with similar oversight.

AWE was an interesting channel, they just aired shows glamorizing lifestyles of the rich and famous (mostly in the middle east) but then would randomly air live boxing content from exotic overseas locations. 50 Cent's ex girlfriend used to do the promotional lead-in for the fights...she was dressed like a round card girl but would step in the ring and shadow box.

Really memorable HW fight from the mid 2010s lol, when Browne's team was scared to celebrate the win because they were worried about getting killed by a Chechen warlord LMAO. The look on Kadyrov'sfiance when Chagaev got splattered was priceless I'll remember Big Daddy for that fight, his shocking 1st Rd upset KO of Junior Fa and getting put to sleep as hard as anyone I've ever seen against Whyte lol
The vibe for that Chagaev fight was so interesting because, as you put it, Browne's team was very aware of the fact they were fighting in the backyard of a warlord against the warlord's chosen man....ahh, good times and good memories.Comment
