Rid**** Bowe was the best of the era. Lennox was the 2nd best of the era and kind of took over after Bowe.

Should Fury get through that, only Joshua remains. “He does need to fight him because it is a British thing,” Lewis said
          Nah...he really doesn't eh!

If he beats Usyk who schooled Joshua twice, Fury can just say i did what you couldn't and troll him forever.

Lennox beat everyone he faced. And he faced most of them.

Sure he could have fought Tyson earlier - but then you could reverse that... Tyson could have fought Lewis earlier.

He could have fought Bowe, but of course Bowe could have fought Lewis.

These guys had an equal chance of being proven the best, but only one man actually did it.

You don't have to beat everyone in their prime. That's never going to happen. You just have to prove yourself the best.

This article seems to be focused on Fury... but what happens if Usyk wins? He's completed the game hasn't he?

I like Lewis and rare him among the best fighters, but he should have fought Vitali again and should have fought Bowe to prove he was the absolute best. He stays there, among the best ones, but differently from Ali, there can still be arguments.

Lewis never had the WBO, didn't fight Moorer, never fought Bowe, didn't fight prime holyfield or prime Tyson, didn't rematch Vitali and got chinned by rahman and mccall.

Lewis is also one of the best to ever do it

                  Point is nobody is perfect.

So all this "a proud warrior would do x" talk you come out with only applies TO Joshua not against him.

If Fury beats Usyk to become undisputed undefeated why risk losing that to Joshua in some local pissing contest ?

Fury would have beaten the guy who beat Joshua twice to prove he is the best of his era.

Fury will have nothing to prove fighting Joshua who has been beaten 3 times and holds no belts.

AJ hasn't earned a shot at Fury but i get why all his jizzguzzlers are buying Hearn's bullshït and why Lennox is shilling for the fight.

                      It's cos they're british innit...yawn.
