No, what's pathetic is Fury almost getting beat by Ngannou.

If Usyk smokes him, and it's highly likely, there wouldn't be anything pathetic about it. Usyk is good and is expected to have MORE than a puncher's chance.

Fury will need to manhandle Usyk or resort to dirty tactics to win. Usyk will school his head off the entire fight otherwise.

Pretty much comes down to how motivated Fury is. If the guy that was counted out against Wilder the first time shows up Usyk is losing. Fury has all the advantages and is smart enough to keep Usyk from fighting on the inside.

But if Fury comes in lazy or hasn’t been motivated in camp the. It’s anybody’s fight.

So if he wins, he's great and he would always beat Usyk. And if he loses then he's still great and would typically beat Usyk, but he just couldn't be bothered.

It's incredible how many people fall for Fury's low level voodoo.

Once again my friend, context is king.

We have seen a peak Fury and we know how high level he is.

We also know that Fury was morbidly obese for years, is a very heavy drinker, takes recreational drugs and has bipolar disorder.

That's just the reality of the situation here, you aren't dealing with a dedicated athlete like Usyk who trains every day.

It's Fury's fault for behaving like that, but Fury has appeared to be on the slide since the second Wilder fight, that was 4 years ago now.

His last fight was the worst performance of his career, if he goes in and looks flat against Usyk, it is what it is.

It won't take away from Usyk being undisputed, but I won't be 100% sure how Usyk would have performed against the fury of 4 or 5 years ago because Fury simply isn't that guy anymore.

Fury is a rid**** Bowe type, he has almost limitless potential but squander a great deal of it and may just lose to a more consistent boxer.

If Fury manages to beat Usyk, then AJ and gets out the door undefeated that'd be absoloutley insane because he's not really even a professional athlete.

It's Fury's fault but it's also just the fighter that he is.

Potential is a factor of ability and dedication. Lacking the dedication to train or face the kind of competition that you should is just as much of a weakness as lacking a decent jab.

This is Tyson Fury, with all his strengths and weaknesses.

If he loses, it's because Usyk is better.

And if that happens I think it will be right to question just how good 'Comeback Fury' ever was. Because beating Wilder isn't worth as much as he insisted it was.

It is top level fight. Who wins wins. No excuses. The one that loses won't be a coward and a bum because of that. They will do it twice, likely.
