I think after years of not signing for a fight or having a fight, the clues already came in for him some time ago. He knew something was wrong.

IT'S ABOUT TIME. If that moron Charlo would win a few fights and then go out and give back to his community and give out a few scholarships to some underprivileged kids you want to see how fast his "depression" melts away...

This Adames fellow is not even active. He could have taken stay-busy fights, but didn't.

Why can't fans have more deserving ones? Who gives a F about inactive fighters? They don't belong in this sport.

One of the great truths there. They say people who are wealthy and depressed live in that conundrum where they know something or some things are missing and when they finally reach out to help others, they finally discover what happiness is; a happiness that has depth to it, not the happiness that goes away after a person has bought a car, had a drink, bought flashy clothes - rather the kind that makes someone REALLY feel important, connected to the world, and like they belong and have value past the point of their nose. Giving is the greatest way to really feel like a person is getting something lasting back.

This is overdue. It's sad, but Charlo has held the belts and rarely defended them, to the point where it shouldn't even count as a title reign. He was one of the most inactive champs I've seen in a long time. He seemed to only care about his zero and his money and possessions that he flaunts online, not about the pride of being a champion who takes on all comers

That whole 160lbs wbc situation has been a chit-show for some time starting with when Suilaman made Canelo "franchise champion" and elevated Charlo to full champion. Note Charlo didn't even beat a champion to get that title. 160lbs is possibly the deadest division right now but to be fair to Adames he deserves that title because he has been diq-ed about for ages. Perhaps Crawford could settle at middleweight and Eubank Jr could fight Adames, wouldn't mind seeing that actually.

And why do all these high paid boxers all turn to alcohol? It's such a trampy drug... If you choose the path of self destruction then at least batter the weed, coke or pills lol. There's less chance of killing someone and they're more likely to have a good time.
