5 and both he ones we lost went to 7 games in classic series. 60% ain't bad.

Lakers x 3, Spurs and Trailblazers are solid competiton though. We are a solid franchise, but I know we are not the best all-time (Celtics) the Lakers have just never proved to be a very good mathcup against us .

33% against the Pistons in the Finals, I guess that what constitutes the best on the west coast.

For the most part, it obviously comes from jealousy and envy but i'm trying to find a specific reason why they exert so much energy hating on him because it's still a mystery to me.

I narrowed it down to the 4 most likely choices but if i forgot one then state what it is in this thread.
bcoz of guys like you mr. president sir...

I guess beating the Pistons is like hitting a curveball if you can do it 33% of the time you are an all-time great.

33% = winning percentage without Magic, Byron, and Malone

good job chopping up numbers...at the end of the day, you only have 3 titles and 5 appearances....and it takes you guys more than 10 years to get back to the title round

          congratulations

If your team is so great you should not have to make such excuses. We could have won both the series we lost but we didn't oh well, they were both great series.

On the other hand you are 1-8 in the last two times you played the Pistons in the finals, and were a Kobe miracle shot from being 0-8.

what you floyd fans dont realize is nobody thinks he is trash. everybody knows he is a great boxer. all we want is for him to back up all that talk. for example we you was lil at recess if somebody said im faster than you they had to prove it. same goes for boxing if you running round screaming you the best and somebody else thinks they are the best theres only one way to prove it and it aint running your mouth.

You act like you didnt have more then a decade between wins from 88 to 00 with only 1 appearence getting crushed by the Bulls. It did only take seven years to get back to the title this time but having Kobe was a pretty big help and he was higly motivated because of that drought, but you did appear twice loosing to the Celtics (as usual) and Pistons (as usual).

It will probably be a while before we get back unless we hit big on some guys, but we will have a winning record against the Lakers in the finals for a long time.

I never claimed the Pistons were the best team though so I can make excuses since we are not one of the best teams in history. Also even if we are a lesser team you have a 33% record in the finals against that lesser team.
