How he acts determines how he is percived. If he is a great person when he is alone with his family, good for him but it dosen't make up for how he acts in public. He is free to act any way he wants but he is not free to avoid critisism for it.

He's my favorite fighter, but up until here recent, everytime he talks schit comes out. That is the only reason he's hated, the rest of the reasons are just piling on.

We already know Mayweather is the most skilled fighter and biggest cash cow in boxing right now and anytime a person has that kind of influence there's obviously gonna be haters trying to drag him down. We saw it with Muhammad Ali in the 60's and 70's and we're seeing the same thing happen today with Mayweather.

For the most part, it obviously comes from jealousy and envy but i'm trying to find a specific reason why they exert so much energy hating on him because it's still a mystery to me.

I narrowed it down to the 4 most likely choices but if i forgot one then state what it is in this thread.
