Oh for sure. Even Lemieux at the time was more dangerous than 98% of Inoue’s opposition.

I agree, lightweight doesn't seem ideal for Naoya considering he is already at the later stage of his career moving up multiple (4) divisions already.

At least 126-130 are stacked with viable options though.

still isn’t a good fight, just the best out of a bad bunch. he marginally beat aleem.

126 seems the way to go.

Many people who are crying for him to move up only want him to lose due to size, not skill.
            Context matters.

This is because he couldn’t get the Spence fight, which he was chasing. And was ousted from the Pacquiao fight.

Inoue holds all the cards and could move and fight the best at 122, he has the ball in his court. Bud couldn’t do that. Even the Porter fight was difficult to eventually come by.

Yeah, what a bum. He beat a top 5 fighter 8-4, sweeping the last six rounds of the fight.

Always love when you guys just look on Boxrec for your opinions.

His point was that he could find equally ranked top 10 opponents that were mismatches also. It’s the quality of the opponent, not where they are ranked.

Daniel Geale & Martin Murray were both top 5 guys. I think Matthew Macklin was too at one point. Does anybody look back and gauge them as great wins? No.

All good calling people trolls because they’ve dug holes in your logic.

Let me guess.. Nery who got stopped by Fig was a better opponent than Munguia was.

Now Goodman is a better opp who went life and death with Aleem (7-5) is a better opponent than Berlanga.

What kind Inoue flavoured slurp juice are you drinking? LOL. Nery was 9/1 a bigger underdog than Munguia was.

Goodman is looking at something like 11/1. I speak for every boxing fan/not Inoue cheerleader when I say nobody wants to see these fights.. at all.

Not really.. Inoue is an amazing fighter. Just doesn’t have an amazing resume.

And as a genuine boxing fan, I can’t stand when cheerleaders are content with their fighter fighting B and C level opposition over and over again. That’s for any fighter.. nothing personal with Inoue at all. The Fulton fight was a great W and the risk paid off.
