If it was smarter how come it didn't lead to any results and in boxing tbe results are clean punches which he did not have. Pac did. Moving away from your opponent throwing useless grazing jabs is not a great strategy unless your name is Floyd. If his name wasn't Floyd that's a loss. Prime for prime he gets killed and Floyd knows that. That's why he ducked it. Didn't duck Baldomir though

Who wins the fans because Floyd Mayweather was scared to fight the best version of Pacquiao.
Manny had put it all together by the time he fought Hatton, and the Mayweathers didn't want those problems. It was excuse after excuse until the risk was about 30-35 percent, and even then Floyd’s pops was telling him he was fighting scared.Last edited by djtmal; 05-04-2024, 07:43 AM.

Mayweather had agreed to 50-50, all he asked for was random blood testing, that both would be subjected too. That was back in 2009-2010.
And to think that these same clowns talking about Pacquiao would’ve won, were the same one’s defending Pacquiao for not wanting to take random testing.
The nerves on these clowns.

It's Manny who was ruined by the dirty fighter...
SN:There is a reason Floyd was pfm sharp vs canelo at 154, and struggling his later career at 147Last edited by sbbigmike; 05-04-2024, 07:56 AM.

When did he take these tests? After everyone was questioning why he wasn’t taking them for Mayweather? Why he rejected a Mayweather for 50-50 split with Mayweather? After that right?

Floyd was simply a better boxer and probably a bad style for Manny.
Let's not act like Floyd was near his prime either when they fought. Floyd's last fight in his prime was probably JMM. The spring in his legs were never quite the same after that fight. He could still move better than most but he was slightly older in the legs by about 2009-2010 and certainly was by 2015. Even Roach thought so and said it would have been a much harder fight for Manny had they fought earlier.
Floyd simply knew too much in the ring for Pac and prime for prime he would have too much good movement for him, as well as just being the superior boxer.
Both are greats but styles make fights.Last edited by deathofaclown; 05-04-2024, 09:33 AM.BodyBagz likes this.

Tests and the usual excuses aside.

Pac had so many issues with Marquez and Floyd was a bigger better version of that with more defense and movement.
I don't see a different outcome.
