Even if it wasn’t intentional, it’s still the fighters fault. There is no excuse for failing a drug test.

    That's not how it works.

Samples are taken, they are analysed and the results are announced. Then a team of experts examine all the relevent evidence, interview all the relevant people, and make a decision on whether cheating has occurred or not.

But back to what Weebler said, it’s true, fighters aren’t quick to defend themselves like this but it doesn’t make him innocent, and also, I think this vehement denial of PED use is a younger generation thing. The Benn kid did/is doing a similar thing with his failed drug test and he has actually seen some success with his defense.

It could also be that guys like Benn and Garcia truly believe they are innocent and that’s why they’re really the only one’s who are angrily defending themselves with such passion.
I’ve literally never seen anyone defend a PED user the way they defend Ryan Garcia.

Legit the ONLY reason ryan is famous is cuz of his looks. Nothing else. C level fighter, objectively.

The same thing that applies for Garcia applies for all of them.
Maybe their excuses were legit. Why are the traces found also minimal and a lot the finding be that it could be from contaminated supplements. Not saying for certain just giving a view from the other side.

people think cause they got positive test for a trace amount that the substance gave the boxer superpowers. Garcia would have still kod Haney regardless guy literally kept getting caught by the shot everyone kmows Garcia has.

Canelos case - long history of mexican athletes testing postive for Clean and studies done that it was in mexican meat. The threshold has been increased so anyone who has that amount now would not even get a ban.

Khans case - he was tested from young olympics all the way through his pro career never failed, never failed in the weeks before Brook. But then he failed fight week / fight night for Ostarine. The report also had experts scientists say there would be 0 benefit of him taking it. The amount was that miniscule. Makes no sense to take something fight week when you know you have a test fight night too. This is similar to Garcias case same substance and fight week pos. Need to know the amounts and investigstion.
Khan did get banned for strict liability even though report supported that high unlikely he took it intentionally. Also in Khans case it was one of his worst performances, yet if he won everyone would have said ostarine helped him like they are doing Garcia.

Benn the whole way they handled it him and his team is a joke. He should have took the ban would have been over now. Furys wild boar excuse past studies have been done (years before his pos test) about them and nandrolone

I think they should get a ban strict liability i agree because down to the team to make sure what they have but i think some of them legit mean it when they say they don't know how. But also i think wbc and positive test investigations are a joke, bbbofc are a joke, boxers themselves and how they handle it is also a joke. Also these boxers have months and months out they can just do peds then if they wanted. Most these tests only happen during camp when they sign up to it. I rememeber reading at one point there were only like 3 boxers signed up to 365 day testing don't think any are now, Canelo was actually signed upto it when he test pos.

I think the testing process needs to be where every single boxer needs to have tests every month inc out of camp and where they testers can turn up randomly anytime in the year out of camp

In Canelo’s case nobody that hates him wants to the see those facts. They just want to go with the he cheated stuff. Around the same time, and before and after Canelo popped dirty for Clen, there were people from different towns of Mexico who got sick due to ingesting animals raised with clenbuterol. There have actually been 100s of cases. There are even federal cases about it and even PETA investigated it.

Victor Conte of all people, came out and said Canelo’s clen levels were consistent with contamination.

But this why we have to know more about Garcia’s tests, we need to know if they’re consistent with contamination. If not, then he used them to make weight probably.

Conte shouldn't be the guy to ask that him and Ryan have personal issue hence the red flag him being with vada

For the record, I'm certain he was cheating and either using someone elses urine/a masking agent you're completely right that Ostarine is useless to make weight. The tainted supplement excuse I always hear is almost always bull**** and if you're a top athlete you should be getting supplements from a company that tests it products to sell to athletes that undergo testing of which there are loads now.
              I don't disagree.

Give it a little bit. That nandrolone they found in the drug test is going to be confirmed as the 2nd PED in his system very shortly.

If Garcia was black/white/asian, you’d want him hung. But because he’s Mexican, you say it’s a conspiracy. I wonder why that makes a difference? Never mind, I know why. Because you’re a racist scumbag.

When you watch him, he really doesn't come off as someone who cheated/took PEDs.
