He will be the sept opponent that is why Canelo only signed a 1 fight deal with pbc for Mungia. I guess the money was right to fight bum berlanga.

Can't knock a young guy for getting a payday but this is a cherry pick for caneloLast edited by MinuteMaid5; 05-02-2024, 07:36 PM.Comment

He might literally be the most manufactured star In modern history. Literally fought nobody, and looked awful multiple times in doing so. It seems his claim to stardom is literally his heritage, gold chains and some cool shades.Comment

This guy is delusional. His ego is his biggest flaw. He really doesn't get it that people here in PR know he's not as good as he thinks he is. Props to him for having self belief but, he's nowhere near of deserving a fight against Canelo Álvarez. While I love the whole "Puerto Rico vs Mexico" thing, this is not a fight anyone I know wants to see happen unless it's because, for the most part, here in PR we want to see him getting his ass handed to him. I don't know a single person here in Humacao (I can't speak for every person in every town in PR) who's a Berlanga fan. Just the truth as I and many others see it.Comment

Berlanga is about to hit the lottery, if Mungia doesn’t score the upset. Dude is crazy lucky. No way he should be getting a shot at the big money. And now both Morrell and Benavidez are moving up to 175. Alvarez can cherry-pick all he wants.Comment

Delusional. He would be another Yildrim.
He will get hit hard by a punch he won't see and will go into a shell until he gets KOed.
Not interested and if Canelo wins his next fight an fights this dude I am done with him.Comment

I hope not, Berlanga looked good last time out but against who? That is about one good showing in his last 4 or 5 with no notable wins and he maybe fighting for the undisputed title?
Shameful of Canelo if true, you know he could just vacate his status as champion and it would be all good.Comment

Dude is not Puerto Rican. He's a NYer of PR descent. He might have a solid base bc of his PR bloodline in NY, but he is not as big as he thinks he is and is one of the least deserving guys at 168 to get a fight Canelo. He's a decent fighter, but since stepping up in class(if you wanna call it that), he hasn't faced anybody that can really punch and still hasn't looked impressive in any of his recent fights. He seems to just likes the attention he's getting and wants to be a celebrity more than a great boxer. He ain't nowhere near ready for Canelo, even at his age.Comment
