Canelo would pull some shyt like this. Can’t wait to see what ridiculous excuses his fans come up with because we all know they’ll defend it. They gave up on having dignity about 6 years ago.

This is a joke of a fight.

I didn't like the Charlo or Ryder fights and I think he should be fighting Benavidez over Munguia, but at least all three of Charlo/Ryder/Munguia had been in there with world level guys. Berlanga is completely untested and undeserving in every way.

Benavidez, Mbili, Morrell, Beterbiev, Bivol, Gvozdyk, even Jermall or Gongora would be better than Berlanga.

I am from Puerto Rico and he is known by boxing fans but he is not a superstar here, only in his dreams.
Tito and Cotto were superstars, this guy is delusional and undeserving of a fight with Canelo.

I wouldn't be surprised if Canelo mails it in. Leaves the title in Mungos capable hands. All these other guys are getting timed out and the wait is starting to show.

I'm impressed with how Hearn was able to put Berlanga in this position. Top Rank didn't want anything more to do with Berlanga. He looked average at best after the KO streak ended. Canelo signed a 3-fight deal with PBC and it looked like Eddie made a massive mistake signing him. Guess not.

If Hearn gets this fraud a canelo payday after refusing to fight anyone with a pulse so he could then sell his 0 it’s a pox on the sport and a terrible precedent for any fighter coming up that sees how he could do this

                  Shame on Hearn

                  Shame on canelo

                  Berlanga is a joke fight

Hearn is absolutely shameless using the dazn boxing budget to put canelo in with this coward bum , the fight will lose millions and lose Canelo respect, I thought dazn higher ups had been burned enough than to put money behind a clown like berlanga

This is all Clenelo! He's in a position to fight anyone in the world he wants to and he fights an unproven guy like this? Then again, all the guys he beat at 168 were on the same level as Berlanga. A bunch of very beatable, easy fighters like Belanga. He will whip a very beatable Munguia on Saturday and then another huge payday using the Puerto Rico vs Mexico theme.
