Even though Roy beat him, Toney could do that because he was a highly skilled fighter, far more skilled than Roy. Imagine if he didn't have the once in a century athletic ability? He'd be a sloppy amateur getting kod left and right.

Who, me? First time I looked across the ring at Toney he was 28 and in his prime.
My guy, who trained at the Petronelli gym by way of Malawi, beat James Toney's ass, because my fighter was a better fighter. More balls.
I brought a fighter in against a very good opponent; but not a great one.
Greatly managed and publicized, but nowhere near the talent you've been lead to believe.

There's a lot more sense in this thread than I thought there would be.

Tyson is an old man. He was a champ. Was. A long... long time ago.

60 is old. At 45 there is a huge physical difference in me than there was in my Army days, and even up to 35. If I'm around at 60, God willing, I expect I'll be even less of myself. The decline gets steeper as the years go by, it doesnt just decline more, it declines more steeply.

That includes strength, speed, agility, flexibility, muscle mass, and mental faculties, to name a few things.

And of course he's juicing to get in shape. If you don't know about gear, then just understand that whenever media talks about some actor muscling up for a movie role with a 12 week magic routine, thats roids. Every dude in your muscle mag or supplement ads is on it too, it's standard. Which is why you won't look like that guy by traing and taking that supplement.

A 60 year old in the ring who loses weight and bulks up is on it too. No hate at all, just facts.

As far as boxing, this is to boxing what microwave chicken (half-soy) nuggets are to a rotissieri chicken. A quasi-imitation that capitalizes on the quality of the real thing.

Besides that, I just don't get a young guy (who is, btw, certainly on juice, you knew that right?) fighting a 60-year old man. Who cares what Tyson was 30+ years ago. There's no glory or even dignity in beating up an old man.

It's money. Tyson is trying to make some cash. Okay. The youtube guy i guess wants money too and has prob made a career out of doing ****** things for money, which makes this same ol same ol for him.

One thing to know about the Paul brothers. They aren't particularly bright but they are kind of stubbornly just intelligence enough to make sure when they get involved in a situation it's not at arms length, in other words, it's not a fair fight. I don't know what was arranged but I would bet quite a bit of money that this is not a straight up fight even with the 14 oz gloves which is a nice touch by the Paul Brothers by the way.

These guys have made a career out of fleecing their fans. Making sure people bought bogus financial products, bogus drinks from what I understand, and all the matches he has fought which are also bogus.

I mean in this world these days, you have these two idiots the Paul brothers, people like Meghan Markle, just grifters being held up because people are too f****** ******. It's really unnerving.

Elon musk it's another one. Brilliant my ass. Doing ****** thing after ****** thing, firing people who have been loyal to him when he could pay them if he didn't ask for some ridiculous compensation package when he has done such a s*** job.

Tyson will pocket a minimum of $20 million, driving his retirement net worth back up beyond 30 million; and Paul will do nearly as well.
There is public buzz about this silly fight, and it May gross near to $300 million, driving the purse money way up further.

I haven't met anyone yet who doesn't want to see Tyson smash him hard.

I don't see why he wouldn't if his back holds up. He's no ordinary 58 year old.

Are you saying first off that Jake Paul is better than most journeymen out there? Secondly...are you saying Roy Jones has a better chin than Mike Tyson? Jones has been taken out cold. Tyson has been beaten down...but never put out cold. Like i say...Paul.would need to put on a beatdown to stop Tyson....and 2 mins a round isnt going to get it done.
