He would be silly to not impose his size on the cruiser, when AJ fought on the front foot, the few rds he did, like a real HW he won rds against Usyk.

We won't get the latter. Might get Benavidez v the winner of Beterbiev v Bivol and Turki apparently wants to make Canelo v Crawford. And I'm personally really looking forward to Bam v Estrada, and Inoue v Nery, mostly to watch Nery get smashed. Hope Inoue doesn't screw that up. Ioka v Martinez is a good unification too.

I still think Usyk may end his career having never fought a guy who fights like a proper heavyweight.

If Fury's legs are gone he won't be able to fight like one.

Can you imagine Usyk against Lennox Lewis lol

Fury can't be compared to one of the best to ever do it though, I mean last time out he barely scrapped by against Francis.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Fury got sliced up and stopped late on accumulation. Usyk fights like a bigger version of Loma using angles, accuracy, and volume.

It will be quite a task for Fury to keep up with the pace Usyk is going to push.

I do think that Usyk is going to get hit alot when he gets in reach of Fury, Usyk needs to fight the perfect fight for 12 rounds. As opposed to AJ, Fury has a much better feel for boxing so everything that Usyk will attempt will get answered. Final prediction a comfortable but hard fought UD12 for Fury.

I can see the fight playing out in both of their favour and I find it hard to pick a winner.

Fury lacks technical Polish but so much of this fight depends on Fury's legs to me.

I'm of the opinion that Fury needs to jump on Usyk, probably not as soon as the bell rings, but at least in the first round or two, and go all out for a stoppage, if he can sustain pressure for 5 or 6 rounds then he's got a fair chance.

He can't give usyk an inch of room to use any of his superior technique. Just make it an ugly ass dogfight.

Usyk just needs to make it to the second half of the fight relatively unscathed, I think if he mak
es it there and hasn't taken a lot of damage or been leaned on a whole lot then he will walk it down the stretch.

The Ngannou performance was seriously concerning to me, not even because fury was out of shape and rusty, more because towards the end of the fight when I felt fury needed to show that defiance which has characterised his career it just wasn't there.

high-intensity mauling. people think he has cut weight to run. that is for 12 rounds of constant pressure, mauling, elbows, and anything he can get away with. don't need the extra bulk he had with wilder since usyk cant punch. probably bit more speed and snap on his punches for body work on usyk.

a trilogy with aj in the UK, Saudi and Nigeria is worth its' weight in gold.

Lowblows, headbutts and lots of sly elbows with the ref looking the other way way is what im expecting.

Fury will want to open a cut on Usyk, make it worse by any means necessary and force a medical stoppage.

Tend to agree with this take.

Usyk gets hit more than ppl wanna admit & if this fight is fought grimy by Fury it'll be a rough night for Usyk.

The get back battle Fury has with Usyk will be interesting cuz Usyk is a master of the SRL last 30 sec round stealing tactic. I thought a key part of his success vs AJ was stealing close rds. If hes able to steal close rds from Fury this could be more interesting than I expect it'll be, but if there are a ton of disputable rds that are stealable, like Fury had vs Ngannou in a W that didn't age well in real time & especially after the AJ KO of Ngannou, than Fury maybe in worse shape than I believe he is in.

Fury has always been a fight to the level of his opposition guy & as long as that trend continues here I see things going his way with Usyk needing to look better than we've seen at HW if not near perfect to win.

Usyk would hands down outwork Lennox for an easy victory on the cards.

Lennox was in trouble with another Ukrainian in Vitali with the only thing saving him was to rush in and headbutt Klitschki to force a medical stoppage.

Vitali was schooling Lennox before then. Usyk is a far superior boxer to Lennox.
