Possibly Castillo Corrales these would have been the Gamboa days, maybe 154 Oscar, Cotto Mosley Canelo and Manny would all give better fights than any of TC opponents.

I think TC is a hell of a fighter but his resume is ordinary.

He was getting 7 figure paydays for beating up peg leg benevidez and Jillian andongo and he had no problem with that. Now he won’t give ennis a shot just like he denied Taylor. Vergil is the best at 154 just wait and see.. that kid a machine. Regardless tho bud has to fight some of the young lions if he ever wants to be considered an ATG. All kings fight off challenges for the throne that’s what makes them kings. Bud has yet to do that
He literally already gave Ennis a shot and they turned it down "out of loyalty to Showtime." Ennis could have fought Bud years ago but decided to pursue Spence. He was mandatory for the IBF, which was Spence's belt. And it's telling that Spence only defended that belt once. Meanwhile, Bud defended that WBO belt several times. Ennis has been avoiding Bud for literally years. Now, after turning down offers, he wants to pretend he's being ducked?

If everyone avoids him, how is he going to have people face him to build a solid Resume? He been calling for Spence 5 year ago when Spence was in his prime. He called out Pacman way before the Mayweather fight. He was always HIGH risk LOW reward. All the PBC Welters ducked him and stayed on their side of the street. He called out Charlo and Charlo ducked him then and ducks him now.

Thats the thing the " everyone " is not much at all apart from the shot versions of Manny and Floyd the new bunch ismt much at all, Ive said all along this is a weak era though its less than half way through Bud still has time to claim greatness but every fight has to count its not about the belts its the fighter.

Terence 'Bud' Crawford has said, without saying a word thus far that, "PBC, Mayweather Promotions, Errol Spence, and Jamell Charlo are NOT THE ONLY GAME, in town regardless of what they had been trying to sell for years.

They are steadily shrinking out of view in the 'rearview mirror of his legacy.

For PBC, Mayweather Promotions, Errol Spence, and Jamell Charlo, it has just gotta sting.

                Floyd beat an Old Oscar
Smaller Maquez, cheated him on the scale
                Old Mosley
Old Pacman that had been in Several war trilogies
Weight Drained Canelo and not elite at the time
                Old beat up Gatti

                Nothing impressive about his Resume

It shts all over TCs so where you place it doesn't matter, comparing them does, and Buds doesn't get anywhere near Floyds or Mannys resume, its like a great fighting other greats or a great fighting average guys, TC has it all to do because his resume is weak with Spence the best guy on it. And Im a TC fan just being a a realist.

PBC burned too many years off his career with their BS. Saudis should have been around 5 years earlier. Belts will allow him to be undisputed at 154 if he can beat everyone. I compare him to Beterbiev given their backgrounds are almost identical and he really doesn't have any damage so can he go another 2.5 years and hold form? Assuming he becomes undisputed at 154, he would literally fight Jenibek for 3 belts at 160 with his WBO status. 4 times undisputed is not impossible if his aging timeline falls in line with Beterbievs.

If the Saudis can draw Canelo in with his 168 undisputed and Crawford skips 160, he would be top 4 for sure. He looked pretty diesel on stage. As noted Canelo is an eye-eye fight vs fighting a 6'21 168 fighter like Morrell or Benavidez

So nothing. Spence activated the rematch clause and Bud was legally tied into honoring that until it expired. You want to blame someone, go talk to Spence. Ennis was SPENCE's mandatory, not Bud's. Spence was the one who only defended his IBF belt ONE time in 4 years. Bud was legally prevented from taking that fight, which we KNEW was going to happen before the fight even happened thanks to the rematch clause. Just as we know already that Hrgovic will likely become email champ if the loser of Usyk - Fury activates their rematch clause.

Takes a real idiot to think that Bud ducking has anything to do with it. You going to be bleating about how the undisputed heavyweight champion is ducking Hrgovic if the loser activates their rematch clause and the IBF strips the champion because of it?
