Yes, back and forth to a certain extent, but IMO no way it was 112-112. Hope they do a rematch.

Your Haney fanboy opinion, that's all.
Besides the ref giving too much time for Haney to recover,
the 112-112 was a ridiculous score.

Yes they are scored like single point deductions. If a fighter is winning a fight 9 rounds to 3. Then the final tabulation of the scorecard is 117-111.

However, when you factor in Fighter A knock down; Then you deduct a single point from him. For example in rounds; I had Devin winning eight rounds.

Which would make my scorecard 116-112. However, when I factor in the three knockdowns then I must deduct three points off his score.

Which now makes it 113-112. Then when I factor in the single point deduction from Ryan Garcia for hitting on the break Then I must deduct a single point off his score.

Which now makes my final tally 113-111 for Devin Haney . Which is how I unofficially scored it for Devin. It was a close fight but Devin still won it my opinion.

Haney didn't have to fight him. Unprofessional as hell from Ryan but the fact is they offered Haney a deal after the fact and he took it. Even said afterwards the weight wasn't the reason he lost.

Yeah you right Ryan could of gave himself more distance instead of smothering his shots when haney was backed up. But the ref constantly letting Haney hold and calling time outs after the breaks was annoying AF. After the 3rd knockdown I thought yeah its over now but ref let Haney survive that round

Eat crow Bill Haney--your head was just getting too big. Talking about killing your opponent was DUMB. You're taking that religion too seriously.

+3 lbs means nothing tonight i saw that devin is overrated.ryan’s only skill is left hook thats all. Ryan is still the same an instagrammer and Devin will never be an elite fighter because he lost to instagrammer. Matias would literally kill devin haney in the ring. Frank martin schools haney easily. Gary antuanne russell demolishes him.
real raw real raw likes this.

Devin decided that this was going to be his Gatti-Mayweather moment, but turned out he was Gatti.
Only on fight night my friend but not on the scales; Where he is largely gaunt and dehydrated for cutting too much weight. He doesn’t cut corners or take short cuts like Ryan did.

It was gamesmanship on Garcia’s part. He tricked Haney into fighting him by saying it was for his 140 pound title.

Also, how many rounds did you score for Ryan Garcia again? I personally had him winning only four rounds to be honest.
