I think he landed in Montreal around 2006

The fat hypocrite clown went back on his “principles” as soon as there was big money involved. Like we all knew he would.

Whoricio just didn't think this would ever be a big money fight, so he used it as an opportunity to look good.

"These guys don't sell, I'll make a big political statement!"

Like how Bridgerweight is named after that kid who saved his sister from the dog attack. This fat POS has no limit.

Sulaiman & co. are the cancer of this sport. As if this guy has some elevated sense of morality, or Bivol has anything to do with ***** or the war in Ukraine. You want to get ranked by the WBC? (Or any alphabet title?) You want the biggest fight? You have to PAY!!!

Suli sniffed that Saudi money and forgot about his faux principles.

He is depending on short term news cycles to forget he ever took a "stand" against Bivol. Sad part: Except on forums such as this, it will work.

i was cheering for Beterbiev to drop that title and go fight Bivol anyways. Let the fighters pocket that sanctioning fee and let the WBC crown someone one of these two had already whupped their useless champion. Instead, this clown gets the best of all worlds and can deflect the hard questions. I am glad we are FINALLY getting Beterbiev-Bivol, so the good completely outweighs the bad here. But this is the bad. This moral-free viper gets his cut. Kind of makes it crystal clear why boxing has become a niche sport.

That royal money musta gave him amnesia. Forgot everything he said before he saw all those zeros at the end.

Bivol's father was born in Moldova. Bivol's mother is an ethnic Korean born in Kazakhstan. Bivol was born in Kyrgyzstan, moved to Russia when he was 11, and has spent the last several years living in the United States.

Beterbiev was born and raised in Russia and moved to Canada in his 30s.

So why was Bivol too Russian but not Beterbiev? Because Beterbiev is a ****** from a heavily ****** region of Russia?
Also, after Beterbiev KO’d Smith, in his post fight interview he said “Akhmat sila” and that on its own is a pro Russian comment. That phrase is used by the Chechen army (which is pro Russian) to glorify the father of Ramzan Kadyrov the head of the Chechen forces, needless to say he is pro Russian.
On the other side we have Bivol who keeps saying that he’s a sportsman not a politician and politics never concerned him.
The amount of bs that Sulaiman has created with this one is beyond belief.

Funny how principles change when a large bag of cash is placed on your desk.
