Beterbiev was born and raised in Russia and moved to Canada in his 30s.

You're right, I just found it a funny remark considering Bivol is the supposed nasty Russian banned from competing for the WBC as opposed to Artur the 'Canadian'. Sulaiman is downright shameless, it's little wonder he suddenly "refuses to talk politics" when his glaring hypocrisy is on display.
