Canelo is so full of **** that it stinks, I mean the stench is unbearable. He deserves it, he's earned it, he can do whatever he wants.
What in the **** is he talking about, you can't do whatever you want, and still be champion.
It doesn't work that way fool, you've only gotten away with ducking, and dogging certain fighters, because your godfather who's the president of the WBC.
Many fans are tired of your primadonna/arrogant behavior, and want to see you retire or get retired/humbled in the ring.
You're deftly afraid of Benavidez's youthful energy, fighting style, and physical advantages over you, so you use every excuse in the book to not fight him.
Then you say that you want to fight Bivol again, which we all know is an outright lie!
Biovol has already schooled you once, and you don't want anymore lessons from the master boxer.
As for Beterbiev who has gotten older, and more injury prone since you first mentioned fighting him.
He would still put a beating, and battering on you to the point that you would need to be transported to the nearest hospital right after the fight was stopped.

Excuses, Excuses. I don't understand this notion of, oh, well I have fought many during my career, therefore I don't have to fight the number one contender in my division for the titles I hold. If you want to call yourself the King of the division, that means fighting all comers and defend your crown and prove you're the king. I don't understand this fear Canelo has of Benavides when he's fought bigger guys and now wants to use the excuse that all Benavides has is an extra 25 pounds.

I will say David didn't help his cause by getting sh** faced at a fight and then talking to the media. Bro, is your addiction so bad that you can't control yourself and make the decision not to drink at a public event? Sh** like that doesn't vote well with me as giving me confidence that he actually can beat Canelo. Focus on boxing, and give partying a rest, that will end your career early.

All that said, I know it's a long shot but I hope Munguia wins.

I have always been a fan of Canelo's and nobody can question the mans record. But Bicol can still make 168 and wanted the rematch at Super Middleweight. So Alvarez being the number 1 at 168 can be disputed. And Terence Crawford or Inoue are the only boxers who could claim to be p4p number 1. Usyk could certainly claim to be if he beats Tyson Fury next month.

So let me get this straight...Clenelo would not fight Bivol @ 168. Instead he fights a guy who fought 2 weight classes down at 154. He himself puts on a lot of weight after weigh-in but will not fight Beneviedez at 168 with our without a re-hydration clause, but says he will fight the winner of Bivol/Beterbiev? Seems to me he is scared of Beneviedez.

Just to add: Beneviedez did himself no favors being drunk during that interview, but wouldn't Clenelo see that as an opportunity to fight a guy who does not take fights seriously like Ryan Garcia?

Yes, they will knock Canelo for that. They knock him for everything else. I am surprised that some of his haters have not accused him of causing Russia to invade Crimea or the Israeli/***** conflict. His haters are a breed apart in the intensity of their hate for Canelo.

If Canelo went straight for the Bivol/Beterbiev winner, that would be pretty awesome and he'd deserve some major credit.

                  Thing is, he won't.

LOL... When Ginger sees what Beterbiev makes of the guy who humiliated him in a one sided story he'll crawl back to 160 just to make sure that subject won't be discussed again...
