The ref did not warn Hitchens not even once. He would actually dive in to hold and then when the ref was trying to separate we would have resistance making the ref work to separate them.

Don't know how some here say not to watch them when they can actually get a shot at a title against a good fighter.

      In other words, STFU.
With a name like sweepbf you are obviously a clinching bitchboy fan.

And your wrong because when the other fighter tries to push or work out a clinch they end up getting warned by the corrupt ref instead of the hugger...so you should stfu and get out of here with that clinch loving BS.

See those types of fighter are being babied right now for several reasons that go beyond boxng.

It's like saying you hate Michael Bay movies.
Simple solution is to not watch his movies.

        Boxing will be ok
it's not that easy those guys are getting blatant biased treatment and hurting the sport with that display. When a fighter you enjoy beats them and gets robbed you can't say "just don't watch".

          1. There is no criteria that states you have to be moving in any direction to be winning
          2. Fighters just don't have to cooperate with clenches which most do, I have seen fighters have none of it(Angulo, Froch) and unleash good offense while opponents try to hold.
          3. If you are landing clean punches and preventing your opponent from doing so then you are winning the rd regardless of the entertainment factor.

Funny part is that boxers with that style are usually dubbed "boxers" stylistically by the commentators. Maybe they're not fighters, but they appear, definitionally, to be boxers.

BS excessive clinching is not boxing that's a bogus narrative it was thrown out there by the guys who held A LOT.

Boxing is avoiding punches with actual skill ie upper body movement head movement ala canelo, Toney etc

This hold hold hold n jab shyt is not boxing so that BS narrative has to stop.

Don't blame the fighter, blame the freaking ref (excuse the language).
If you want you can do something by splashing the ref's picture all over the social media
make him feel like a traitor or something.
