Comments Thread For: How Much Does Vasiliy Lomachenko Really Have Left?

Vasiliy Lomachenko is set to return May 12 against George Kambosos Jr., in what is expected to be a comfortable win for "Loma." Yet a thought remains: How much remains in the tank of the 36-year-old Ukrainian?

If he believes he can take on Shakur Stevenson after besting Kambosos in good fashion, that could be interesting wouldn't you say?

I got Loma facing Navarrette next to unify if they both win.
Then a cash out PPV against the Davis-Stevenson winner.
Maybe even a farewell catchweight fight with Inoue later.

Nice idea, but I would be very surprised if he does all of that. I don't see that hunger anymore.

Arum seems more concerned with Shakur getting the bigger fights in the future than Loma, since he’s ageing.

He was spectacular but I believe it's kind of over. Age and warfront might have finished him. The way he toyed with rigo and Russell, he would of wiped out Stevenson. It's just over now.

Quite possible yes, likely the most likely outcome if he is in top condition. Whether he does or doesn't, would give him props and hope it happens since they are both in Top Rank.
