If Tim couldn't see, the fight would've looked way different and Tim probably would've been stopped

Had Team Tszyu notified the doctor that their fighter can no longer see due to the foul. Then the doctor wouldn't have had any other alternative but to stop the fight.
Then the fight would have been ruled a no contest after three rounds had been completed or have gone to the scorecardsLast edited by champion4ever; 03-31-2024, 12:18 AM.

I would ask people to watch the fight again and pay attention to Tim parrying and slipping Fundoras jab. Some got through but it wasn't enough to suggest Tim couldn't see them

Let this be a learning lesson for Tszyu that a general training camp is not always enough. Some opponents like Fundora have unique attributes that you need to be fully prepared for. Tszyu believed he was just be able to figure it out in there.Last edited by kiaba360; 03-31-2024, 12:24 AM.

It's the referee's discretion to determine whether or not a cut was caused by a punch or from an accidental clash of heads or a headbutt.
I am certain that,Harvey Dock made Team Tszyu aware of the situation that the cut was not caused by a punch but by an accidental elbow..
Tszyu's team should have absolutely told the referee that he couldn't see. It would be a no contest and they'd go again in 6 months.
I can only assume that they still thought he'd win.
Credit to Tszyu. He's a proper warrior - I hope the fight increases the number of people who want to watch him. Then it hasn't negatively impacted his career.
Credit to Fundora as well, by the way. I'm taking nothing away from him.champion4ever likes this.

Holy sh.it Fundora is the most dangerous guy in the sport. He destroyed Tim by un elbow. That was the real Muai Thai elbow punch.Last edited by JakeTheBoxer; 03-31-2024, 03:12 AM.
