-Tszyu defeats Spence around late summer/early fall this year..
-Tszyu then fights Crawford around next spring for a true unification match.
If by some chance Spence isn't completely broken and actually wins against Tszyu, it will also build up some worth for a rematch against Bud.
So does he still pursue this path or …..

Well, Boots is supposed to beat Crawford, and Crawford is supposed to beat Canelo, and so is Benavidez. So maybe Boots should step up and fight Benavidez, take him off Canelo's plate so Crawford can get the Canelo fight, and then Boots and Bud can fight at 168.
Or maybe some of these notions are stupid and certain fighters need to actually earn their hype.
I'd like to see Spence fight Vergil Ortiz Jr, personally, at 154, if he doesn't want a softer touch first. Winner would likely become mandatory to Madrimov. Or he could fight the winner of Bohachuk v Mendoza, or Lubin. Put him on the undercard of Crawford v winner of Tszyu-Fundora. That's a decent co-main.

I thought it was worthless to begin with, but Spence rematch for another easy cash grab is out of the window due to Spence surgery.
Jermell is officially beltless and is essentially retired until otherwise, and likely won't fight in 154 ever again anyway.
Forget Canelo, that is, was, and always will be a pipe dream.
Tank isn't fighting anyone who owns a belt that also has a pulse, not to mention he ain't fighting 147.
There's no rumors for it, but just for giggles a Floyd vs Crawford exhibition isn't happening either.

He better be focused on Fundora. He should win, but never underestimate your opponent.
About other names, ah, most don't really want to fight super talented guys like Crawford and Ennis, but if the money is right, they will. Crawford is that big name now.
Ennis has to get a big fight, but they dont want to fight him. In the past era's, fighters weren't keen to get in the ring with Mike Tyson or Mayweather, but if the payday was great, they accepted.Oldskoolg likes this.

Would rather see Spence Jr. fight Vergil Ortiz Jr.! Both from the Dallas area, and both put asses in seats! If not Ortiz Jr., then Jesus Ramos is well deserving of a fight with Spence! Tszyu would be a fool to turn down Terence Crawford for Spence Jr.! Not a good look!

The rematch was just exhumed maybe a month ago
So as you can see Bud had no choice but wait for that to be called off and was a great waste of time
Now Spence jumps on board and wants to get the winner of the fight
