Would you mind sharing your scorecard then? Which rounds did you give Haney, and why?

Lopez fought OK in the Loma fight but just because Loma doesn’t steamroll you like the others it means you got the W ? Makes no sense especially when you get dominated in the champions ship rounds.

People forget that Lopez fought equally shyte in the early rounds: hitting blocks, missing, not taking initiative etc. Lopez never dominated a second of that fight.

I had Haney 7-5. Don’t recall the exact rounds now.

Fight night I did say my score, draw , or Loma 7-5 would be acceptable and understandable. I thought it was a very close fight.

          Doing ''something'' > Doing nothing
Defense only counts when you counter off it.
Otherwise it just looks like a guy doesn't want to be in there
(Nelo vs that Charlo ''guy'' and Mikey vs Spence comes to mind)

Actually interesting that each time I watched it I had it 8-4 but some of the times I had different rounds go for each fighter

No. Haney was struggling to make 135. The rematch would have to he at 140, which wouldn’t have been for the LW titles.

Loma can get a rematch at 140 but you know that doesn’t make much sense.

lmfao. Prograis was a tough top tier JWW. If Loma had chosen him you’d be fine with it.

Loma was mid 30s and belongs at 130 while big head Haney belonged at 140. He was probably 155-160 on fight night. Loma was probably 134-137 on fight night.

On paper Haney had nearly every advantage and still lost in many eyes. Even if he "won" he barely won.

Yeah Loma isnt going to "grow" into 140 so the fight night weight advantage would be even larger there.

If nobody is really landing much, the judges will generally give the rounds to the more active guy. You could even say he gave loma more openings by being more active, Loma wasnt letting his hands go, his fault for not securing the rounds and leaving them to the judges.

Yup. Loma isn’t going to control the rematch after losing.
