Fundora going straight from that brutal KO loss to another big puncher is not a good idea if you ask me, but he could seize the moment, who knows. I just think Tim is better than Mendoza and hits harder.

It's a good replacement fight to make and should be a nice paycheck for Fundora, I'm just not sure that he can pull this off.
While I don’t disagree, Fundora is a better opponent than Keith who’s never fought at the weight and only fought once this decade.

Fair and I think most agree with you. This would be a huge upset if it goes any other way.

I do agree with what Bradley said, though. There at least is intrigue.

Yeah I suppose. I guess I was just intrigued to see what Thurman had left in his comeback. Guess we won't find out yet. No doubt, this will be an entertaining fight regardless because we know how Fundora fights and Tim. It should be exciting while it lasts but I think it's pretty safe to say that Tim will chopping down the tree. I wouldn't mind Fundora proving me wrong though. It'll be a great story that he came back from a devastating KO loss to get a win against a highly rated fighter whose destined to become a star in boxing (if he's not already in his country).

If Fundora had good eyesight and used his physical advantages it'd be a no-brainer. He doesn't. That's the problem. He can't get hit AT ALL against Tszyu or he's crashing.
I favor Tszyu as well, but I like this opponent a lot more than Thurman.

Junto Nakatani is more what I expect from someone so tall and long for a weight class.
Whats kinda funny is that Nakatani, despite his height has a rather short reach by comparison.

Fundora is listed as 6'5.5" (77.5") height and a 80" reach.
Rafael Espinoza who is also crazy tall for featherweights is listed as 6'1" (73") with a 74" reach.
Inoue is 5'5" (65") height (which I actually have doubts, given that he seemed almost smaller than Tapales who is listed as 5'4") with a 67" reach.
Junto Nakatani is 5'7.5" (67.5") height with 67" reach.

For his height, Nakatani has a rather short reach but he's certainly got the power to not make it really matter.

I'm going to go ahead and agree with Timothy Bradley here

I honestly don't feel that Thurman has the passion any longer and Fundora certainly is hungry and paired with that height/reach!

He's durable ànd hits harder than "noneck" Fundora, kid is strong, sparring between Tszyus is way more intensif and looks like a réal fight watching some boxing lately
