Why wasn’t Erickson Lubin offered mandatory fight with Tim Tyszu?

Better yet, why was Ramos Jr. the guy who beat Lubin not offered the shot?

I don't care about the politics involved or rankings or any of that in this particular situation. I think it is awesome that a fight with Tim is still happening, that Tim is cool with the drastic shift in opponent, and that the human spider wants to fight a buzz on short notice. Go boxing!

Exactly what I said and style wise Tszyu/Ramos would be fireworks.

I was fairly interested in Tszyu/Thurman, but I think this might be better. Not saying Fundora is a lock or anything (in fact, far from it), but his reach and nearly one foot height differential is going to give Tim problems on the night of. I suspect/expect fireworks.

Good for Fundora, I wouldn’t mind seeing him pull this off. I hope it’s a shootout
