Fundora was dreaming on a fight v Crawford and somebody else. Seems like something worked out for him here.

We might look back on this and laugh that we ever thought Fundora might pull the upset here. I mean he was KOd by Mendoza whom Tszyu beat. BUT it's a big switch, on short notice, from old Thurman to tall lefty Fundora.

I'm looking forward to it.

Also, though I obviously don't know Thurman personally, I'm tired of fighters who sit around, inactive, and expect to stay relevant. So I'm glad the fight went to a hungrier fighter. It's good for boxing.

I wonder who's going to fight Bohachuk and if it will still be for a belt. Is Lubin in training ? Mendoza, Zayas ?

Mendoza has been training, and some people were saying he was in Tim’s camp for this fight. Think he’s definitely their first choice from things I’ve heard. Haven’t heard anything about Lubin, but I was thinking he may get the Tim fight after hearing about Thurman.

Doubtful. Fundora may be tall, but he fights short. That's why Mendoza starched him. Tszyu should have similar success. I suspect that Fundora fights inside because of his poor eyesight.
