Comments Thread For: Zhang-Parker Focused Only on Each Other

Former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, 34-3 (23 KOs), coming off what he called the biggest win of his career against Deontay Wilder, said he was confident ahead of coming up against another tall task as the two made their Grand Arrivals in Saudi Arabia ahead of their appearance as the co-main event on Friday's Knockout Chaos bill.

This is going to be a really interesting fight. Love the stylistic matchup. Feels like one is going to be a nightmare for the other, but I'm not totally sure who.

Yep. This is a fun, I have talked myself into both fighters winning at different times since it was announced. Leaning Zhang as it gets closer, that power and his pinpoint jab is just too much to ignore on a fighter like Parker who cannot match up power blow for power blow. But Parker could sure drag him kicking and screaming into the late rounds and just dominate him as Zhang runs low on gas.

Maybe Parker now that I think of it.....

"New Jersey-based southpaw Zhang said he was motivated by the support of his fans, and doing well for his team."

How long has Zhang been in New Jersey? Is that recent?

Zhang has the luxury of throwing the fight late and shooting for the rematch. That makes Parker way more dangerous!

If Parker got another shot at the title, what happens if Fury is the undisputed champion?

Tyson and Joseph are friends, and will never fight each other. Then again, the belts usually split up quickly anyway.

It's only Canelo who's not been stripped of one of the belts as super middleweight champion. They know he is boxing's cash cow and megastar.

Crawford and Jermell already had a belt taken away.

Anyway, if Zhang wins, I'd love to see him fight for a title.
