PandJ and DanB thanks for the updates. No buzz at all over here for this fight so I’m not surprised. Shame, it’s a good matchup

Like the hugfest vs Wlad and prospect to rematch him got him distressed and depressed. Lol.

You might be right. Greedy Belly is a very cunning guy with dirty tactics.

If you throw in how long Wilder and Joshua circled each other and how many times the fight was rumored to happen when they were both undefeated, than the time Joshua and Fury was "signed" before Fury was forced legally to fight Wilder the third time, than that this is the third time for a date for Usyk and Fury.....

What about a heavyweight unification fight seems dragged out? I just do not get it.

I like Usyk but he couldn't stop Glass Joe Joshua. Fury took Wilder's biggest shots and got right back up and beat Deontay to a pulp.

Lots of people will be crying when Fury wins pretty easily.
Not denying there is a ton of Fury hate. But even as a fan, you have to admit a lot is self induced. I actually feel boxing is more fun with Fury in it, and I will miss him when he does hang it up.

I am a Huge Usyk supporter, and I am fine with Fury being the favorite. He does look like he is training serious, and that is good. But Usyk will not be easy. Usyk and Fury both know Usyk has near zero chance to hurt Fury unless it is over the entire fight. I think Usyk and his team are prepping to stay out of that mid-range zone where Fury is the most dangerous. Wilder and Fury lined up so well because they both fought at the same distance to maximize their power. Usyk will stay out of range, or close in and low to smother Fury's power. Than just hope better conditioning and technique win the day.

Honestly, this could be an ugly fight. Their styles may turn it into a war of attrition, and that could honestly be a dull watch.

Fury looks to still be in good shape so that’s a positive.

Think it happens May 18th. Or hope.

You make some interesting points about possible nature of the fight with regards to distance (as compared to the Wilder fight).

Fury appears to be in shape but I do wonder how much mileage is on his body's odometer with those Wilder fights and his lifestyle in between fights. One can look physically conditioned but not necessarily show it in the ring.

I'm thinking Usyk will not only try to win the distance war but also the angles and pace as well. As athletic as Fury is for his size, it still takes effort for a body that big to move. Tire Fury and exhaust him with angles and possibly pace.
