They're all using something. Common sense says they're pushing every single boundary.

Science bans him and science gets him unbanned. I don't know that we can pick and choose which bit of the science we won't believe.

If he's cleared to fight then he's cleared to fight. That's the definition of a clean athlete in boxing. It's the only definition that works as none of them would ever be considered clean by any other definition.

When you test positive 3 times though its just incredibly difficult to give the benefit of the doubt isn’t it.

In Whyte’s case I’m inclined to think the latter tbh, especially when you consider his two-year ban for the first positive test was for a stimulant from taking Jack3D, a regular over-the-counter pre-workout supplement.

I think a lot of the backlash Whyte faces is because his abrasive personality doesn’t endear himself to people. When you read into it (and the info is readily available online), his infractions are less sinister than the likes of the walking pharmacy Jarell Miller or indeed even Fury, who tested positive for an anabolic steroid that can only be administered via intramuscular injection and not ingested.

Either way, it’s not a good look for Whyte who really doesn’t help himself at all.

I mean, it’s possible. That’s the problem with a lot of those failed tests, contamination IS possible. Especially as they tend to fail with trace amounts.

So it can always be used as a possible reason, and thus used as an excuse. Is it the truth? That’s the problem we’ll never know for sure. All we know for sure if they had the PED in their system one way or another.

In Fury’s case, he tested positive for Nandrolone, also known as Deca, which also COULD be in his system due to contamination. However unlikely. He’s eligible to use that excuse aswell.

The thing is with all these “contamination” excuses; Canelo, Conor Benn, Fury, Whyte etc etc etc etc all of them are possible. But the demonstrable evidence that they are true are all the same; Zero.

Meaning it’s just their word, and the fact it’s possible, as their defence. Which in my opinion isn’t really a sound reason.

But hey, is what it is.

I said so - the same people willing to give Beterbiev pass on his test - will just go in hard on Whyte. Don't be a hypocrite. If one of those 2 looks like they are on PEDs - it's the one who is 40 years old - fighting like a 25 year old.... not the guy putting on average performances in the ring.

There are obvious differences in the situations though. Testosterone is a naturally occurring hormone, Whyte tested positive for a banned substance. And not for the first time.

Funny how everyone is attacking him when it’s happened bf with a over the counter supplement that had an ingredient years ago for whatever reason being on the banned list but Fury actually took a full fledged steroid intentionally along with Hughie and he gets a pass like he didn’t take any when he fought in the time period of 2014/2015 ? Lol

If true, then you've now got to ask why Chisora knew Whyte was failing a test a week before the failed test result happened.

Remember Whyte was due to face AJ and then Chisora said in an interview that Whyte's test will come back dirty and it did.

Whyte has history so its hard to believe him but it was strange how Chisora knew Whyte was failing a test before Whyte himself knew.
