I don't like premature stoppages anymore than the next person, but that stoppage was more than justified.

This!!! He was done at that point, and he took two punches after he turned his back, and had no defense at that point, so the stoppage was justified.

Are you confusing the mandatory 8 count from a knockdown with a standing 8?

The ref can only count if there's a knockdown. You don't seem to understand the rules of boxing. The fighter turned his back, that's the same as giving up. That's a TKO loss. It would've been completely absurd for the ref to just arbitrarily declare a knockdown and count it when there wasn't one.

I'm not going by the official rules, but what I've seen in other matches. I've seen in a match where a fighter is getting beat up and the ref jumps in to give the fighter getting beat up a count because he was basically out of his feet, the same way Khomaltov was. I can't give you an exact match right now because I'm drunk and tired, but if you give me a moment to sober up, I'll dig a fight up where I've seen this. In fact, I have the imagery in my head of it happening and I can't put a face to the fighters when it did. If someone else can chime in, please do so, lol.

Is Bradley friends with Ford and his team? I have to assume so. Bradley isn't great but usually does a decent job. Khomaltov was obviously winning the fight by four or five rounds, he was outlanding and landing the bigger punches. Ford's corner knew well he needed a KO to win, kudos to Ford for going out in the 12th and taking the risk and hurting Khomaltov.

Stoppage was iffy for me, Khomaltov was running but if could have been a standing 8. Regardless, Bradley was terrible and obviously pulling for Ford and not commenting fairly at all.

There is no standing 8 count in professional boxing. Do you even watch the sport? This isn't the Olympics bro.

I'm not arguing that the result wouldn't have been different, but for the sake of how much time was left, it would have helped Kholmatov see the final bell to win on points. This is an odd one for me, because I'm happy Ford won since he's from Jersey, but also feeling for Kholmatov's situation where everything he did was erased in less than 10 seconds left.
