Only good win was against Austin Trout, undefeated fighter in his prime, same weight class. He was always the big guy in the division making the big cut, Now Benavidez is that guy and he's hiding under the bed.

That's kinda how I feel. Also It's crazy to think that when he was evenly matched vs GGG, the fights were all controversial.

1st fight most thought GGG won at least 7-5
2nd fight looked more like a draw, but could've gone either way
3rd fight was a clear win for Canelo... Derevyanchenko fight vs GGG was much better. Third fight was just a pay day for GGG.

I'd be surprised if he does. Carnela definitely doesn't seem like the "pass the torch" kind of guy. He rather just get overpaid fighting guys he can overwhelm before even getting in the ring

I saw that about Canelo net worth over $275 million on Forbes and he has business empire in real estate, restaurants in California and Arizona and tons of gas stations all over Mexico.

Canelo is going to make hundreds of millions more in Boxing too before he hangs up the gloves.

Good for him. He can do us a favor and fight Benavidez so we can enjoy a War while it last

I don’t say Benividas was a coward though. He WASNT at his peak and he also would have had to come down to 160 to fight him. Both bad ideas. Same rings true for Canelo fighting Benividas now.
I think Canelo WILL FIGHT Benividas before he retires. He will wait for Benividas to go up to 175 and if Canelo whips him all will say he dehydrated him and put in a dehydration clause. Cause he will do BOTH those things. Best they both do their own thing. Canelo is far past his prime and NOT at his best performing weight.
I doubt very much if DB moves to 175 he will ever come back to 168 his body will not allow him to, its looking like the bird is about to fly away, DB goes to 175 and aims at Bivol Beterbiev winner, or stay at 168 maybe knock of Morrell (if he can) and try to get Canelo in September, time is running out for Canelo Benavidez its got to be this this or its gone.

Yeah, he loves golf too. Lol Canelo is no dope; that’s for sure. I would be surprised if he sticks around boxing much longer. What’s the point? Getting your brain damaged for what at this point?

                  I'm optimistic it happens.
The best fights like making a 160lber 40yr old GGG and 154lber Charlo move up to 168 instead of rematching Bivol?

Rematch was offered at 175 same terms Bivol refused(bad advice) didnt everyone on here want him to fight Charlo or Andrade a few years ago?

No he hasn't. If he holds belts he needs to fight the best available challenger. If he doesn't he's straight ducking and there is no other way to put it.

The only way Canelo proves he can beat Benavidez is by fighting him. Fantasy fights mean nothing.
