Zhang though, is clearly a much better boxer than Wilder. Maybe not as big a one punch ko arsenal as Wilder, but he has good power with both hands. He also has a powerful jab and is a southpaw.

It's going to be hard for Parker to get a good offence going. He can't just be on his toes all the time, He's gotta get in close and then out.

I guess I'm rooting for Zhang, as I'm predominantly chinese myself, and he seems like a cool guy. Parker also has the nice guy image, so happy for both guys getting this lucrative fight.
Is Wilder really a big puncher though!? he hasn't been in with anyone who's known for being durable.

Ortiz got up multiple times, Fury did (questionable chin, great powers of recovery), he never even dropped Duhaupas who's been iced by Povetkin, stopped by Yoka and quit in his corner against Kossobutskiy and never dropped Greene JR either despite the the previous narrative he's dropped every opponent he's faced...

Even Stiverne was able to take his punches and recover when hurt in the first fight then smoked in the rematch no one asked for he was overweight and 2 years out of the ring.

For the alleged biggest puncher in history he sure has done a good job of avoiding any durable guys or punchers for that matter.

I'd argue Zhang is a bigger puncher than Wilder, he's fought at least two guys with PROVEN solid chins because neither guy moves out of the way of shots in Hrgovic and Joyce and arguably dropped both.

But Zhang's propensity to gas could be his undoing against Parker he's quick enough and skilled around to dance around the big man to deplete him more than usual as long as he doesn't get caught by his deceptively quick counters.

Harder fight than Wilder now in retrospect. Zhang will be far busier, won't be gun shy, hasn't already achieved his goals in the sport, isn't sitting on a ton of cash already.

He also hasn't been in the mountains tripping his nut off for the last 6 months.

I love Zhang but Im picking Parker. I think Parker is too durable. I think he wears out Zhang and gets the TKO. Dont get me wrong, I think Parker is average but if you cant get rid of him you better have a lot of gas and I dont think Zhang does.

I've got Zhang by mid KO. Parker was successful against a timid Wilder, but an unpredictable Zhang? Not so sure of that.

Moving into his 40's and showing he has a tendency to gas late, Zhang needs that connection early on. He will find the experienced, always prepared Parker will not be cooperative as the fight moves on and he picks up his offense. So Zhang connects and starts to dictate this fight before the mid-rounds, or Parker starts to dictate during the mid-rounds and Zhang just reacts and hopes. Pretty much easy to predict depending on who you favor: Zhang by KO before the double digit rounds or Parker by UD. Cannot, as a pure fan, see the other outcomes as likely.

That is why this fight is so easy to sell. The way each man needs to win is completely opposite of the other, but both styles are fun and have great boxing IQ's behind them. So excited for this one.
