Nope, floyd will never be ranked higher then Ali.

maybe if he fought and beat Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Pacquio, Williams and then perhaps you might have a case....

If you mean this Muhammad Ali, you might be right...

But don't sleep on early Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince though.

and ive never even heard of Ganero, Jesus Chavez or Manfredy. Were they even top contenders at one point??

but yea i made a mistake i forgot hatton and corrales i'll admit that

So the big names mayweather has fought so far:

Hatton, Marquez, Castillo (lost this fight) Corrales and de la hoya.

Still nowhere close to Ali's or any of the WW ATG's resume's
I was gonna look past the fact that you probably havent hit puberty yet and respond to you as an equal but you lost all credibility right here.

Stay in school little man, you have a lot to learn.

It doesn't help to respond in that manner. Maybe instead, you could have informed him on the 3?

Floyd hate is due to fact of him not wanting to fight the best.

Nobody in the 60's said. Oh Ali ducked fighter, Ali refuses to fight this fighter, Ali does not take any real challenges, Ali is scared of this guy, Ali is scared to lose. You know why cuz Ali fought everybody. EVERYBODY.

You can't comare the 2. Nothing this that the fans say about Floyd today is the equivalent of the reason Ali got hated on.
Regardless of the specifics, the bottom line is they're the best fighters of their respective era's who both get persecuted unfairly by a naiive public who refuse to admit their greatness.

Ali, because he was willing to stand up for what he believed in at a controversial time and Mayweather because his confident attitude makes people who are insecure about themselves feel threatened and because his skills are so far ahead of anyone else in his era.

He's basicly a mirror image of Ali in his glory years only he's a little bit more skilled.

In terms of skill, i think most would agree that he's unmatched in all era's of boxing (whether they'll admit it or not) and at the age of 32 he has plenty of time to rack up enough accomplishments to reach GOAT status. Despite what haters say to discredit his impressive accomplishments, his record already reads like a who's who of A-list boxers and if his recent performances have any indication on the future don't expect him to lose anytime soon.

Take my word for it, when it's all said and done and the dust settles Mayweather is gonna be recognized as one of the greatest of all time. Ali had his fair share of haters in his day too and they all ended up on his nuts by the time he retired. Expect the same to happen with Mayweather.
When is he gonna start this task? He hasn't been too keen on doing it so far

Ali is an ATG both skill-wise and resume-wise.

Ali fought the top guys regardless, Floyd is not even close to his class
