HAHAHAHAHA...greater than Ali????? he's not even in my Top 50.....a boxer who can't throw more than 1 punch at a time could never be considered great

Even when he consistantly showed his greatness in the ring fight after fight, it still took the general public a very long time to look at him as anything but a big mouthed kid from Louisville who wasnt nearly as good as he thought he was. Mayweather gets a similar treatment and his haters are just as uneducated and ignorant as Ali's were.
corrales was probably the favourite in their fight but every fight since then mayweather has been expected to beat his opponent and just when he looked like he might conquer the division he decided to take some time of while pacquiao continued to establish his dominance
im a fan of floyd's boxing skill but as far as comparing him to Ali, Leonard or even Ray Robinson it's totally ridiculous
was i supposed to be impressed by Mayweather beating a 30+ year old fighter coming up in weight and he still couldn't knock him out
Mosley's win over Margarito was much more impressive if you ask me

In terms of skill, i think most would agree that he's unmatched in all era's of boxing (whether they'll admit it or not) and at the age of 32 he has plenty of time to rack up enough accomplishments to reach GOAT status. Despite what haters say to discredit his impressive accomplishments, his record already reads like a who's who of A-list boxers and if his recent performances have any indication on the future don't expect him to lose anytime soon.
Take my word for it, when it's all said and done and the dust settles Mayweather is gonna be recognized as one of the greatest of all time. Ali had his fair share of haters in his day too and they all ended up on his nuts by the time he retired. Expect the same to happen with Mayweather.
Seriously for every ******* thread there is a ***** thread in response. The battle between lions and wilderbeest which it is similar to.
Ali was brave and that is what people truly respected about him. Floyd, well chickens dont get respect.
