We have a variation on that quote.

Every fighter loses - but HOW did you lose?

Against Navarette: You went down swinging.

Against Shakur: You might as well have not even driven to the arena.

There's a strong concern with this one that he turns into another JoJo Diaz.

NO i dont see Oscar that way at all to turn into another Jo Jo he would have to go back and time and be much less of a fighter inside the ropes. He may have lost something at the age of 33 but he has had 33 fights and has shown himself to have a lot of skills inside the ring. he is trying to put out of mind the losses and keep sharp again. Jo JO would always come up short or miss weight or things of that nature is how i think of him. But not Oscar he is not a Jo Jo .................Maybe i read it wrong maybe a lot of things............

Its true that fighters with losses can still do a lot in the sport but he has shown that he can't compete at the highest level.

You’re correct there is no comparison between JoJo and Oscar.

Oscar is twice the fighter & warrior, JoJo is

This should be an entertaining fight. Valdez is totally right. He can bounce back from this loss, but it's going to be difficult. This is a must-win for him if he wants to avoid becoming a gatekeeper.

Valdez would need to improve dramatically to compete at the top. Few fighters have ever done that this far into their professional career. The one that I always think of that did was Ken Norton. Valdez is a good fighter no matter but I don't think he's going to be born again elite.

I expect Eddy to cash Benn out soon. Oscar was a favorite, but the drug scandal and poor Alacran getting pole axed. Gate keeper.

Every Reynoso fighter pops dirty, it's how you find a convenient excuse.

Well, Shakur isn't at 130 any more at least.
