Every time Canelo has an interview he is asked, "When are you going to fight Benavidez? Why won’t you fight Benavidez?” He always replies with, I’m not afraid of anybody.” or the now popular, "I will fight him if it makes sense.” bull$hi+ that most boxers of today love to hide behind. If he’s too much of a coward to do what’s best for boxing then he should be publicly ridiculed and stripped of the belt.

The Canelo hate is pretty silly TBH. There's only one guy right now who has fought all the best available opponents his whole career, and only missed out on big fights because he got ducked, no tuneups, no quibbling over money, just making the fights against the top guys in his divisions. And people still hate on him too. EVERYONE else ducks guys for money or other reasons, makes excuses, takes the easy fights, pulls people up from lower divisions, puts on rehydration clauses and rematch clauses, gets caught using PEDs thanks to eggs or wild boar, fakes retirement, pulls out for mental health reasons, or just gets inactive as soon as they get a belt.

Name ONE guy (other than the obvious guy who signed a literal contract to never take an easy fight) who doesn't play all these ****** games.
