Canelo is an embarrassment to the sport. He has made a career out of beating on old and small fighters. The minute he steps in with a real fighter he gets exposed. Super-middleweight was one of the weakest divisions when Canelo became undisputed (including one fight for a vacant title) and interestingly he only made his move there a couple of days after Benavidez' title was stripped. His achievements all come with asterisks attached. He should have 5 losses on his record - its not up for debate.

The one reoccurring theme is he always avoids fighting the top opposition available to him on the basis of ****** excuses which his nut-huggers lap up... Its beyond pathetic at this point.

Canelo didn't win the rematch, an opinion shared by a overwhelming majority of viewers at press row. It's not surprising he was awarded the win with that corrupt crook Steve weisfield on the judging panel. This is not about GGG anyway it's about Canelo being a DUCKER and convicted PED user. Canelo could've fought Jermall when they were both at Showtime but he didn't did he?

Canelo didn't beat Krusher Kovalev he beat an old alcoholic just coming off a war with Anthony Yarde 6 weeks prior who had a rehydration clause slapped on him for the first time in his career... Plant is ***ing dog-chit lool and he fought Cotto at a 155lbs catchweight where on fight night he rehydrated to at least 15lbs more than him. Canelo's whole resume is an illusion, if you can't see that you're incredibly biased.

What a horrible take on the situation. Bunch of excuses for Canelo and that fans should be OK watching terrible fights because one guy is blatantly ducking another. This dude's example and Canelo's quotes are hilarious too.

After having another close fight against G and winning by 1 round in his fighting hometown (getting dazed in the 10th round by a power shot), he declared that he clearly beat Golovkin and has nothing left to prove. Then he waited 4 more years until the dude was 40 to have the trilogy.

It's amazing he's able to tell himself this fantasy that he never ducks anyone and 'does the fights that are best for the fans'. Please show me one fan who wanted to see a SMW Canelo fight a LMW Jermell.

If Canelo isn't going to face his mandos, Benavidez or Morrell, this May, then he should call Andre Ward out of retirement for a super fight. I can't think of any other American in or around his weight class that can provide a mega event in Vegas.
