Lopez is bigger without doubt but not necessarily better
I think the blueprint is there for everyone to beat him
I’d hate to see him vs a Bud and even a Haney which I’m no fan of
Hey it is what it is

I figured he’d fight like he did against Loma
Wasn’t expecting this though

You didn’t, then decided to deflect and put it on me to explain why I think he can. You’re like some weirdo who can’t resist commenting with b******t, but then lacks the energy to follow through and defend your inane arguments. You’ve been doing this for quite a while.
What's wrong, can't you justify your points like you accused me of doing? Not once will you ever find me not doing so. You're doing it right now though.

We are talking about the same "Sugar" Ray Leonard here? It doesn't look like it to me.Last edited by TheOneAboveAll; 02-16-2024, 10:38 PM.

Oh, you're playing dumb now are you. You know exactly what the discussion was. I said Canelo can't cut the ring off. You disputed this. I asked you to give fights in which he was able to against a proper opponent. You then accused me of deflecting and not being able to justify my argument even though you can't find a single time i've done so. You then refused to continue this discussion after i gave you names in which Canelo failed to cut the ring off properly. Thus it was ironic with you saying i can't justify my position when that's exactly what you're doing.
So, who are these fighters were Canelo proved he could cut a ring off?
As for the Leonard comment. I don't watch YT fights as i have all the fights in a huge fight collection i've been accumulating over the decades. One of those fights is the rematch between Leonard and Duran. Maybe you could point out all the action from Leonard in that fight considering you think he was active and purposeful even though that's one of the most laughable comments regarding that fight i've ever seen. I think you should take your own advice and actually watch the fight. Then you'll see why i'm laughing at you. Why else do you think Duran quit in frustration? It wasn't because he was taking far too many punches. That's for damn sure.

Lara was an exceptionally good mover back when Canelo fought him, but even so, Canelo still fought more effectively and landed the better, more impactful punches and deserved to win a comfortable decision. Canelo, as slow as his feet seem to some people, is actually quite good at cutting off the ring, Ask Caleb Plant, BJS, Charlo, and many of the 20+ world champions he beat.
Show me where Canelo cut off the ring with Lara? Point those rounds out to me. As for beating him. No, he didn't. It was a gift. Canelo landed a handful of body shots while pretty much all of Lara's where head shots. They're worth 3x as much as body shots as it's a smaller target.
Other than when Plant got tired, can you show me where Canelo cut the ring off?
Show me where he cut the ring off against Saunders too. Saunders had him throwing wild swings in the latter part of the fight due to being frustrated at not hitting much other than gloves and arms while getting out-landed for most of the rounds. He couldn't pin Saunders down. Even against a 16 months out of the ring Charlo who was two weights smaller showed how shocking Canelo is at cutting off the ring.
Sorry, but this is delusional. Pure delusional.
As for the 20+ world champions he beat... Yeah, who are they? Shot to pieces, smaller, drained, inactive, not allowing them full training camps etc etc. They meant nothing. His whole career is bogus.
