Same as with Boots when Crawford ducked him, same as with Haney when Loma ducked him (before Loma lost to Teo).

Porter DKSAB. He let his father spoon feed him boxing into his mid 30's and embarrass him on national TV. Tszyu is an awful match up for part-time Thurman, who has just been nothing more than a boxing wanna be commentating guru the past few years fighting no one. You talk your way through this fight. Tszyu is active, young, and brutal. We already know Thurman's weaknesses, he wants to protect his brain hence the inactivity, and he's going to be run-time in the fight, he's not brawling ****. That and his body is suspect.
Made a mistake taking this fight. Tszyu is more hungry with a bigger dog mentality at this point. Thurman wasted whatever his prime was and he was a decent fighter, that's long gone now.

That's a fair point. The salient part is the "if" though, and given his apparent susceptability to injury since he hit his 30s, I think it's quite a large "if". Thurman has the ability, no question marks over that, but big question marks over how his body will stand up to the training, let alone the fight itself.

I don't think people are discrediting Tim, but rather recognizing the experience edge that Keef has.

What they're overlooking is that inactivity. It WILL show up.

The only unknown, like with Vergil and Devin, is if Keef was killing himself to make 147, does he suddenly gain the ability to absorb body punishment? Does his power show back up?

Of the attack vectors I see, body shots are Tim's key to beating Keef. He's not fast enough to deal with Keef upstairs, even old Keef. He's got to slow Keef down and that means body work all night long.

While on paper that's possible, Keef's been WAY too inactive. Plus if he hasn't fixed that flaw of going backwards which is what got him clipped against Manny, it's going to be a LONG night for "Once Upon a Time".
Gausha is taller/longer than Thurman though. Thurman won't have the luxury of jabbing without putting himself in danger. Thurman's feet/distance control will be very important, and I don't think Tim will allow Thurman to outmanuever him all night long.

Keef did a passable job (later in the fight) of keeping Barrios off him. Obviously weight matters, but current day Keef can't go to war like he used to. He has to fight smarter, and that's one thing he normally does (Which is why it's disgusting he fought ****** against Manny).

Thurman also got hurt to the body against Barrios, and he got on his bike afterwards iirc. Now he's older, still inactive....I can see the same scenario against Tszyu. Weight definitely matters....and if Thurman can get hurt by former 140lb Barrios, it's possible that Tszyu will too if he lands properly. I believe that this is Tszyu's fight to lose. Thurman failed his mission when he had an older Pac in front of him. Tszyu cannot fail this mission.
