I am a big Crawford guy, was lucky to see him fight live a few times but I do not agree with his assessment of this fight. I appreciate great boxing skills but that was not on display in this fight. Boring is different than boxing! Ortiz and Lopez stunk up the joint!

Exactly! It's all smoke, and mirror's with that fool, and his dad. Except that the fool crashed through the mirrors, after the smoke got in his eye's.
Crawford would relish knocking out the ignorant braggart, and Matias would break him down from pillar to post, causing him to quit, a bloody crying mess in the ring.
Weren't you the one who was high on Ergashev, and Teofimo? I was right on Ergashev, losing to Matias, I hope that I'm right about Maitias, beating Teofimo as well.
Some in the boxing world are so fed up with Teofimo, and his dad, that there's even talk about them thwacking him, and his dad as well when they see them.

Well, Teo does have a salient point though. Since he is the WBO's champion at 140; He automatically becomes the WBC's mandatory challenger for Terence Crawford's WBO title at 147. If he so chooses to exercise that clause.
It's very similar when Oleksandr Usyk was the WBO's champion at Cruiserweight. He was automatically entitled to challenge Anthony Joshua for his version of the WBO title at heavyweight.
However, I still think that the rule sucks though but it is what it is. If Crawford does decide that he wants to keep his WBO welterweight title; Then he may just have to defend it against Teofimo Lopez in order to keep it after all.Comment

Wrong! It could happen if Teofimo decides that he wants to exercise his WBO clause of fighting another WBO champion in a different weight division. Remember, that both Crawford and Teo are WBO champions in two separate weight classes.
Therefore, if either one of them decides that they would want to challenge the other for their current versions of the WBO title then it becomes a mandatory defense according to the WBO's bylaws.
In that case, Crawford would be forced to either defend or vacate his welterweight WBO title.Comment

Yeah I know how the wbo works. Wasn't gonna happen clown

Crawford can only do what the contracted fight allows him to do and that is the PBC shelf now. A price to pay for beating the breaks off of Spence. Haymon ain't wasting a Prime broadcast on Boots when they can find a big draw and money for the 2nd contracted Crawford fight. Espinoza just said they are looking for a money network now.
It’s fine. Crawford is running out of mismatch opponents, so Boots will eventually be all that’s left.
Charlo - smoked
Teo - embarrassed
Tszyu - fighting old inactive Keef and MIGHT get embarrassed too
Canelo isn’t going to let anybody A-Side him, so that fight isn’t happening, plus Canelo is basically trapped too. Benavidez or bustComment

You make it sound like Lopez is such a chump that he lost the fight. Quite the opposite, he won unanimously. And is going to keep busting people up big time. I mean, how much more running can anyone do than what Ortiz did? And he still lost.
You know who Ortiz didn't get away from while fighting on the back foot? Loma. And Ortiz was infinitely more accustomed to fighting Loma than Teo since Loma and Ortiz were sparring partners. And you know why you don't see people do this to Crawford? Because it doesn't work. He has an excellent jab, a variety of power punches that he knows how to time, and great footwork.
These fights happen to Teo because Teo has never learned to be a boxer (because he's never had a real trainer) and has instead spent his whole career relying on his reflexes and athelticism. Then he goes in denial mode whenever his shortcomings make him look bad rather than looking at what he could've done better. He was literally asked in the ring what he could have done differently, and he placed all the blame again on his opponent. It's not his opponent's job to stand still and get hit.Comment
