He is dangerous but nobody wants to fight him because of it.

Especially with Fury and Usyk tied up with their "May" fight, then a rematch in November, oh wait no, 2025, maybe 2026, oh let's see what the judge says, ouch I got injured, postpone, fight Ngannou again, postpone...

If Hrgovic is waiting to fight Usyk or Fury, he's gonna be in his grave before he takes over any division. He should be fighting any of Zhang, AJ, Parker, Ruiz if his fat butt will stop pricing himself out, etc. You build a resume by fighting as many of the top guys as you can.

Zhang and Parker right now look like the only guys who are ready for the smoke.

I'm not even convinced Hrgovic beats the likes of Jared Anderson.

You do know that Ruiz and Parker had a chance to fight Hrgovic, but passed. He already beat Zhang via unanimous decision. I'd like to see a re-match with a different referee who made some iffy calls during the fight.

In the fight the Knock down was a pull down, watch the films! Hrgovic also put Zhang down, but the ref ruled that as a slip He out threw and out landed Zhang. Check the punch stats. Anyway all three judges felt Hrgovic won. He was distracted on the day due to his father's death who he was very close with, and recently being married. That is a big change for a man.

Then he should have no problem running it back. It's the fight that makes the most sense if Parker won't again, having put himself into contention vs Wilder, unless Hrgovic can land cash cow AJ for the vacant belt. AJ for vacant is by far the most likely fight. And the next best fight is rematching Zhang in China. Clock is ticking on that matchup. Usyk and Fury ain't happening. Well, Fury isn't, at any rate, not ever. And Usyk is going to be tied up for years with Fury and his BS.

Hrgovic' best shot is for Fury to fail to make the May date and for Usyk to request him.

Otherwise his best fights are the ones I outlined. I think you're overrating him, but time will tell.

It depends on what you mean. Am I over rating his chances of becoming a a world champion. I think not. Wilder had a chance to fight him but picked an old man with the fight looking like a fraud. Now moving forward I do think he is the best around today as of 2-9-24. Time will tell.
