THE LIES AND HYPOCRISY
Mosley was also questioned about his use of the designer steroids "the cream" (testosterone and epitestosterone) and "the clear" (THG), which are also written on his calendars.
"I didn't think that any of this was steroids," Mosley said. "I told Victor, you know, I told him that, you know, boxers don't really need steroids in the first place, because you know, steroids don't do anything. Boxing is basically from the mind…"
Mosley told Nedrow he thought the clear was actually flaxseed oil, a similar argument to the one used by Barry Bonds and other athletes who have been accused of using "the clear," before admitting that it was probably something else.
Nedrow: "Did they actually say it was flaxseed oil, or did they say: 'You can call it flaxseed oil?' What did they say about it?"
Mosley: "You're right, 'You can call it flaxseed - it flaxseed oil,' basically what they said."
Nedrow then goes on to say: "Okay. And I'm sorry. Let me clarify one thing. Because we've heard testimony that some people really thought it was flaxseed oil and some people said: 'Well, this is some stuff I have for you but we'll call it flaxseed oil.' If you know that difference."
Mosley: "Okay, okay. It was kind of like, you know (indicating) flaxseed, we'll call it 'flaxseed oil,' it's not - it's kind of like that (indicating) like you said."
Nedrow: "Like - quotation marks."
Mosley: "It's (indicating) 'flaxseed oil,' but I believe it was probably - "
Nedrow: "Something else?"
Mosley: "I guess it was something else, yeah."

This list sets the record straight that many, if not all the athletes involved with Balco knew exactly what they were using and why.
It was a dream come true - A product that provides all the benefits of STEROIDS, but is undetectable by current methods.
There is no GREY line when it come to steroid usage in sports - either you use or you don't. And those who use should be punished to the full extend of the rules governing the sport. It doesn't matter if it happen ten minutes ago or ten years - If an athlete is discovered to have used STEROIDS in a sanctioned fight - all benefits gained from that fight should be erased. He or she should not be allowed in to the HOF. And he or she should be banned from the sport, if not permanately, then for an extended period.
There are no greay areas when it come to STEROID usage in boxing. Either you used or you did not.Comment

Roy got a pass after testing positive back in 2000. Shane has never tested positive and there are major questions about him but how they covered up the Roy thing was amazing.Comment
