Sorry, but Mosley doesn't deserve to fight Mayweather or Pac man.

    Time for him to retire.

    Shane you blew it.

I have sort of mixed feelings as I've been critical of the pass he often gets for his cheating, probably because of his likeable persona. His testimony on the stand (which I put more stock into than him saying he passed a lie detector test) pretty much says that as long as he had the slightest bit of common sense, that he knew he was up.

On the other hand, I'm not confident at all about pro sports not being full of PED use. There's not a level playing field, or maybe it is: PED users against other PED users.

As I've said before, this isn't 2nd grade PE class. Athletes are in it to win it.

You know i would lean towards that for some sports but not a combat sport. But we live in a world where its less serious to take steroids in potentially dangerous sports like football and boxing than in track and field.

because if it is....what makes this sport so different from the WWE...?
and it would send a great signal right now if they did actually say you know what shane, you need to be punish for cheating no matter if you did 6 years ago. For the integrity of boxing you need to be punish. To send a specfic message.

that even if you cheat and dont get caught, If we (boxing officals) FIND OUt
5,10,15,20, or however many years from now that you cheated you will be PUNISH !!!

The NCAA has this stance, that there is no statue of limitations for cheating and I applaud it. They found out in 2007 that chris webber took illegal money from Mich alum.. and they wipes out all of Mich wins, final fours, everything
something over 15 years old, they treated as a crime that was just commited today.

WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU, ON HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT THEIR SPORT?

"Barry Bonds rearranging the baseball record books landed him in the cross hairs of the federal government for years. Shouldn't there be some level of serious consequences for a boxer whose job is to try to rearrange his opponent's face?"

My Point behind reminding People Mosley is a "JUICE USER" is to remind people he was never punish like Margarito was...
          • My Point is Mosley cheating should not be overlook because he is a nice guy..
          • My Point is Mosley cheating should not be overlook because he didnt get caught
          • My Point is Mosley cheating should not be overlook because he admitted to after the fact
          • My Point is Mosley cheating should not be overlook when talking about who are truly greatest fighters of this era really are, and IMO if you have taken steroids, then your name is automatically off that list.

The man was never punish for his action...never.
and the fans havent treated him like a steroid user...they overlook it because Shane Mosely is a nice guy...

and then they say ****, like he deserves an opportunity over fighters who never cheated to be envolved in big fights?

          WTF???

I guess when Margarito gets off suspension it should be no problem for him to get big fights ahead of fighters like clottey, berto, and Williams because Margarito deserves it ....

My point is Cheaters shouldn't be rewarded unless they have done their time for the crime.

I find it disgusting that people are treating Mosley like he is some kind of guy
who DID IT THE RIGHT WAY HIS WHOLE CAREER...and deserves a big PAY DAY..
and other fighter should feel obligated to give him one...

Shane "THE JUICE MAN" Mosley doesnt deserve **** IMO.
AND ESPECIALLY he does not deserve a shot to be put on the big stage making Millions of dollars when we have fighters like Paul Williams, Nate Campbell, glen Johnson, and others Fighters who did it the right struggling to get a big fight...

Dont they deserve that shot more than "THE JUICE MAN"
THIS IS HOW I FEEL !!

We should also include Crackhead Sr and Roger for their drug abuse.

I agree. I have more of a problem with illegal PED use, especially steroids, in dangerous contact sports. The objective is to do physical damage to your opponent, not score runs or runs fast.

But unfortunately I do think that PED use in boxing/MMA/football/etc. is more commonplace than most fans would like to believe.

As a Pacquiao fan, perhaps you shouldn't take such an absolutist position on steroid use.

Not that it makes it right, but the substance wasn't even banned until well after the fact. Technically, it wasn't cheating at the time.

Same with Barry Bond, who has never been proven with unreasonable doubt that he had taken steroids anyways.
