Same with Barry Bond, who has never been proven with unreasonable doubt that he had taken steroids anyways.
People do things in the dark they dont want you to know about, if he wasnt ashamed of it he would have broadcasted what he was doing at the time.

An athlete can always phrase the question so that they can claim ignorance.

Q: Is this on the banned substance list?"

A: No it's not on the list (we specialize in making undetectable drugs).

Then you can later say "they told me it wasn't illegal".

Mosley obviously knew something was a little shady, if he has the slightest bit of common sense.

Mosley told Nedrow he thought the clear was actually flaxseed oil, a similar argument to the one used by Barry Bonds and other athletes who have been accused of using "the clear," before admitting that it was probably something else.

Nedrow: "Did they actually say it was flaxseed oil, or did they say: 'You can call it flaxseed oil?' What did they say about it?"

Mosley: "You're right, 'You can call it flaxseed - it flaxseed oil,' basically what they said."

Nedrow then goes on to say: "Okay. And I'm sorry. Let me clarify one thing. Because we've heard testimony that some people really thought it was flaxseed oil and some people said: 'Well, this is some stuff I have for you but we'll call it flaxseed oil.' If you know that difference."

Mosley: "Okay, okay. It was kind of like, you know (indicating) flaxseed, we'll call it 'flaxseed oil,' it's not - it's kind of like that (indicating) like you said."

        Nedrow: "Like - quotation marks."

Mosley: "It's (indicating) 'flaxseed oil,' but I believe it was probably - "

        Nedrow: "Something else?"

Mosley: "I guess it was something else, yeah."

Since when has any fighter broadcasted anything like this?

That would be idiotic. Do fighters broadcast every one of their training regiments and techniques? Of course not. In fact, it wasn't until 24/7 that we really got an inside look at what went on during training camps.

I think the fact that Mosley stood up like a man and admitted that he did something that he wasn't supposed to is the reason why he wasn't crucified for it.

And I think the reason why Barry Bonds has been, is because he would never fess up to it.

Lol thats hilarious, stood up like a man and admitted it? He was indicted by a grand jury, the jig was up he was outed, not like he came forth before everything came out.

Yes Mosley did get a pass especially from the boxing media because of his likeable persona, If he wasnt a likeable person am sure the issue would be brought up at every single opportunity, I personally think its hypocritical of the media but one thing is he didnt get caught straight away so that took alot of it for him.

You're right about that, but he could have easily taken the Barry Bonds route, and stuck it out. As you can see, proving that someone knew or didn't know that they were doing something illegal beyond a reasonable doubt was nearly impossible.

That's why they had to try and get Barry for lying to a grand jury, and not the initial charge. Again, what Mosley did was cheating, but I give him respect for taking responsibility...that's what I meant in my statement.

It's a joke that Shane can take roids and it's swept under the rug. All the writers are all over his ****. None of them ask him about it or ask him about ducking and doging P-Will or turning down fights in the past with Floyd.
