Ennis has the worst management in boxing ever. He is un unbeaten black American in historically glamour division. He knocked out almost everybody so far.

But still nobody knows who he is.

So I can`t really blame Crawford for not fighting him. Crawford is at the end of the road, he wants money fights.

I agree with you but just to add to your points, people don't know who Crawford is either, casuals don't recognize either of Boots or Bud.

And that is why I think Bud vs Boots won't happen and why Crawford is desperate to land that big, brand making fight with cash cow Canelo.

Crawford would toy with Ennis. Total waste of a fight for Crawford when he only has a couple left.

No he wouldn't. Bud would be the justifiable betting favorite, but Boots Ennis is as live of a challenge as Crawford could get from 147-154lbs. Beating the heir apparent young lion would add plenty to Crawford's legacy, but it doesn't give him the money that a Canelo fight does, so its not going to happen.

I love Ennis, can’t wait for his next fight, but he honestly hasn’t fought any one remotely dangerous, I just want to see him fight some one that’s pretty good Villa was stiff.

Whom did Avanesyan and Kavaliauskas fight when they got a shot at Bud?
Had they fought guys that were remotely dangerous?

More important, who else does Ennis need to fight at 147 before he gets Bud?

Longtime boxing manager Cameron Dunkin died Tuesday in Las Vegas following a battle with cancer. He was 67.

Family members of Dunkin confirmed his death on social media.

Dunkin managed many of the world's top boxers during his 30-plus years in the sport. Among them: Terence Crawford, Timothy Bradley, Kelly Pavlik, Nonito Donaire, Diego Corrales, Mikey Garcia and Jessie Vargas.

At the time of his death, Dunkin still guided the career of one champion in Philadelphia's Jaron "Boots" Ennis, the IBF welterweight titleholder.

"RIP to my good friend and mentor Cameron Dunkin," renowned trainer Robert Garcia, the older brother of Mikey Garcia, posted on social media. "The first person in boxing that believed in me as a trainer. ... He saw something in me and believed in my work and even as an inexperienced coach he trusted."

Dunkin was well-regarded for his ability to evaluate boxing talent. He worked with more than 30 champions during his time in the sport.

I’m sorry but that’s obviously not someone he should have signed with in this era of boxing. Clearly Duncan didn’t do much in terms of actual promoting

Boots don't even bring anything on his own table. His resume looks busy, 32 bouts, but full of mediocrity. He won't keep himself busy, just sit around doing nothing.

Plenty of guys to keep himself busy with, Kavaliauskas, Avanesyan, Benn, Cobbs, James, etc. Look at Teo Lopez, he's fighting Ortiz who by NSB's standards is a left over. It's okay. Everyone would have to look for someone to keep himself busy with. Loma himself has fought left overs, Commey, Nakatani, now Kambosos. Almost everyone is fighting left overs. Joshua, Wilder, Parker, name a guy and he's fighting someone with a loss. It's okay. And no one is making any hate threads about it. Just fight, man, fight. Far better than doing nothing.

Boxing is business not a sport anymore. If Crawford gets $10 million for fighting Ennis, 90% he will grab it no question ask. But who is that person in his right mind will put that money without getting his economic return??
