Those who did 15 rounds some 80-100 years ago and before didn't even know about steroids.

Talking about steroids today, I guess many of us suspect AJ, but why nobody talks about Ngannou - in his fight against Fury, he was practically weighing 123 kg. on 193 cm. and looked jacked as a bull. Yet, people call Fury a steroid cheater, looking like Barbapapa.
Yes, because he got caught and virtually admitted it on camera (in the contrived, backhanded way one would expect from someone of his character).

I agree Ngannou is probably on them too. Someone as determined as him to leave poverty and become rich and famous would likely have few qualms about it.

I'll take roided up and coked out of their respective minds Ike vs Mike any day of the week, and twice on sundays. On a blurry vhs.

I said it before - I believe every pro athlete on a top level is on something, which includes Fury. I am not going into the nandrolone story, but currently, the man is on lard and beer.

I find the Francis' story a bit powdered. I am not saying his life was easy, just the way they present things is exaggerated but this is another talk. People will say he was awarded some "50 clean tests" while in UFC - yeah, fine... USADA claimed Jones was "pulsating".

              Money gives you power

Top athletes just have to pay off doctors to say they have low test to have the right to have exogenous testosterone in their system which will benefit them when it comes to testing and they have the right for their medical records to be kept private

What do you mean Ngannou is "probably" on them.

The guy looks like an IFBB pro, he looks better than "Natural bodybuilders".

Francis Ngannou could step on stage in an untested bodybuilding contest and probably place STRAIGHT AFTER A WEIGH IN

All the while doing a sport that requires insane amounts of cardio training which is extremely catabolic.

The heavyweights in the 50's, 60's and 70's mostly looked like your typical "builders physique" strong, but with some flab over it.

Look at George foreman he had a dad bod pretty much and Ali didn't look physically impressive at all he looked like a guy that works out once a week

It was only in the late 80s an onwards when roids became mainstream that you started getting these herculean physiques, although I would say that the 90s was the absoloute peak of it, Ngannou would have fit right into that era.

It's almost as if the richer you are, the more just the world is.

The overall skill level was better as well though, its not just an athleticism/workrate thing.
