I still think Smith's biggest issue is lack of grit and volume/endurance. When he's actually punching, he does well, but then he takes these big long breaks and literally walks himself to the ropes and lets his opponents beat on him. If he actually used his jab about ten times as much, he'd be much harder to deal with. Beterbiev didn't even need to use head movement to get in on him. He just needed to wait for Smith to get lazy and he just put his own butt on the ropes and let Beterbiev open up.

For a guy who fights nothing but trash outside of his undeserved title shots, Yarde talks far too much.

Biggest poseur in boxing is the only title he should be going for.

Yarde did more against Beterbiev than most in a clear loss and has not embarrassed himself since. Crazy that low bar is a standard in todays sport for "respected".

Hardly tells the stories of both fights does it. Bertebiev found Yarde a lot more of a test than Smith.
