Just out of curiosity, why can’t Benn fight Barrios on a pbc card? Pbc fighters have fought on ESPN and dazn, what’s with matchroom fighters not being able to fight on pbc cards?

This is a sold matchup. Barrios looked tremendous against Ugas, but Ugas showed up slow and old. Benn is in the peak of his physical prime. It's a step up fight for Benn, but I think he's ready for it. A 50/50 fight IMO.Comment

British and Aussie fans often times believe second and third tier American fighters are elite. That’s why they’ll call out guys like Broner, Barrios etc.
Take a look at a 45 year old Roy got beat in Australia by Danny Green. They called Green’s “incredible KO of Roy” the “greatest triumph on Australian soil”.
A 52 year old Floyd Mayweather could one day decide to make a comeback and fight Kangaroo Jack in Australia and it would be hailed as the greatest win ever by Australians.

It was a sad occasion seeing Roy get beaten up like that.Comment

You're looking at things from the lions point of view. An old lion is still a lion to a rabbit.Comment

Great stuff by Benn and Hearn. That's how to stay relevant without fighting anyone of note. Looking forward to the big announcement hopefully it's either Canelo or JoshuaComment
